One of my favorite lines but J-Hope wins this one for me because I find his multiple flow changes extremely satisfying. Love how you all really try to digest a song. I know a big part of your job is to please the viewer but you don't seem to exaggerate your reactions. I appreciate that.

I think Namjoon won Cypher pt2, Yoongi Cypher pt3, but Cypher 4 belongs to Hoseok. The way he raps here is so overwhelming, so effective

Totally. I'm always fascinated by the way Hoseok evolves. Imo, his style in both rapping and producing reflects on his unique view of the world and this often leaves me jawdropped
You see, when it comes to j-hope he's always better in live performances than on albums whether it's cypher series or especially outro: Tear. He is a powerful performer whit great charisma on stage. He can be very emotional and intense with his rapping if he wants to and of course he has a great moves of a main dancer whose background is in freestyle and hip hop, he's very confident on stage.

If they are going to react to DDaeng then they need to react to the explaination because theres alot of word play in there they wont understand it even with the translations. Theres so much referrence in that song
this song was actually a diss to all the antis who leave hate comments and things all the things RM said in the beginning the part about diction pronunciation and oh face not an idol people said that about him about his English and his looks so he was gently slapping them down and saying he doesnt care and u all know his name so whos the winner now

Outro: HER is good too there are some old school there. Also they will need to react to the explaination for ddaeng too becuase it has so much word play and referrence just reading the lyric trans wont help them

I love that they have distinctive rap like you know when shuggs is rapping, and when hope is rapping and when joonmonster is rapping. They all fire.
Suuuuga has my fave verse in this one! But I do love RMs line about the hate comments, the best. Please check out Outro: Tear also. They all do great but J-hope’s rap at the end is amazing!

Tbh I couldn’t pick a favorite for this one. Everybody’s verse was fire for different reasons. I like RM’s lyrics, J-Hope’s tone, and Suga’s flow.

in my opinion, i felt as if the cyphers were specifically for suga,, he KILLED every single one and always came in so hard at the end. when i first started listening to bts i heard these first and suga immediately became my bias, i love the way he executes his words and his voice??? in this song?? is so calm yet so forceful like??? anyways im glad you enjoyed this! pls check out ddaeng and outro tear!
edit: a little heads up about outro tear, bc i feel like the song will be more meaningful if you actually knew what it was about, in the song it represents what each rapper would feel like if they were going through a hard time or a breakup, for RM, he would be sad and in grief, so his focus is around tears that you cry,, Suga would feel as if his heart was broken and torn apart, so his focus is tear, like when you rip something apart,, and then for J-Hope he uses the word fear, which implies that he’s afraid of losing someone and afraid of being alone, so just incase it confuses you, RM says crying tear, suga says ripping tear, and j-hope says fear
Cyphers were made for RAPLINE and each killed it in their own style. It's more than okay to hype yoongi's rap but this comment sounds like discrediting other two and it's sad that when it comes to rapline looks like people hype yoongi mostly and joon time to time RARELY Hoseok. Just bc a rapper raps faster doesn't mean they're better just wanted to throw it out there.

i totally get you, this was just my opinion :) i personally like yoongi’s style more, but hoseok and joon aren’t any less talented! it’s amazing to see how far hoseok has come especially since he didn’t start off as a rapper,, everyone in the rap line is crazy talented for sure

I got into rap because of RM ..I like the way he raps,his word play,the meaning behind the words,and I love his voice if he rapping,singing,or just talking
Hobi killed his verse in this one. I think you should def. check out Ddaeng! It's another diss track and Namjoon's verse is straight fire. Also Outro: Tear is my favorite rap line song and Yoongi's part is honestly the best. Despite what some folks say, it is NOT a diss track or similar to the Cyphers/Ddaeng but it's really awesome. I'd also like to request Getting Closer by Seventeen!
When I heard this song for the very first time I didn't love it but watching and seeing them perform it live in person was a whole other experience and nowadays I love it as one of my favorite cyphers! Their energy + the hyped crowd makes it even better. I definitely recommend watching a live performance video. My favorite part is also Suga's, he had a unique smugness in this one.

It would make for a really cool (but long) video if you could do a reaction to both Ddaeng and then the Ddaeng explainer video by DKDTV. It’s VERY Korean, mixing their Korean roots and culture into the more Western style, producing one of the best diss tracks I have heard in a long time. Ddaeng is my personal favorite, and you can really hear their distinct styles. It is one of RM’s finest lyric work IMO and as you guys love to go over the lyrics and the rhythm and really into the music, i think you will definitely enjoy both. Hope you consider.
*The real fact about Suga is, if y'all wondering, He doesn't stop once he start, when you watch him during his verse, the 8th material in the periodical table called Oxygen disappears, yes that's what I'm talking about*

She is African American & Korean. The song is about her struggle growing up in Korea as it is homogeneous country. She is considered to be the best female rapper in Korea, if not THE best overall . Also, there's subtitles in the videl

Glad you guys enjoyed the cypher series!! The unofficial cypher 5 is Mic Drop with the rest of the members but the next Rapline song in theme of addressing their haters is “DDAENG”. I suggest after you watch it you check out DKDKTV’s video where they explain all the all the metaphors and all the multiple meanings. It’s a really clever song and one of my faves but it’s not on any album :(
