Also, He is called the commander of the army of the Lord in Joshua 5 &6:
And Joshua went to him and said to him, “Are you for us, or for our adversaries?” 14 And he said, “No; but I am the commander of the army of the Lord. Now I have come.” And Joshua fell on his face to the earth and worshiped, and said to him, “What does my lord say to his servant?” 15 And the commander of the Lord's army said to Joshua, “Take off your sandals from your feet, for the place where you are standing is holy.” And Joshua did so…..
And the Lord said to Joshua, “See, I have given Jericho into your hand, with its king and mighty men of valor.

In Judges 6 when He appeared to Gideon:
12 And the angel of the Lord appeared to him and said to him, “The Lord is with you, O mighty man of valor.” ….. 14 And the Lord turned to him and said, “Go in this might of yours and save Israel from the hand of Midian; do not I send you?”
    So He is definitely God❤

In Judges 13, when He appeared to Samson’s parents:
And the angel of the Lord appeared to the woman and said to her, “Behold, you are barren and have not borne children, but you shall conceive and bear a son. …And Manoah said to the angel of the Lord, “What is your name, so that, when your words come true, we may honor you?” 18 And the angel of the Lord said to him, “Why do you ask my name, seeing it is wonderful?”….
Then Manoah knew that he was the angel of the Lord. 22 And Manoah said to his wife, “We shall surely die, for we have seen God.”
He was definitely God, and the Jews understood that.
