Using cars for cloud services is absolutely insane. Waste the owners battery if not plugged in and costs them electricity if plugged in, and it's over wifi on top of everything...
Or... the user could simply get paid or supercharger credits for allowing it's use?
Yes. It’s median elmo too.
With the amount of Teslas on the road vs. what you could actually buy with a server farm, the R&D cost (let alone stock/public backlash) would far outweigh just building a cloud compute center as well. Musk is absolutely off the reservation.
But it will make Elon Musk more money. No one cares about consumers anyway. They are just there to be milked for money for the benefit of the shareholders.

Ooooooooh you were soooo close! You almost got it but fell off with the second sentence. You are correct about the core reason for the TikTok ban, it is about influence but not the way you say. It’s actually that the US can’t censor the truth of what is happening on there (like genocide of Palestinians caused by the colonialism of Israel etc) unlike on US owned platforms.
The US has been running decades long propaganda to say “Israel good Israel good Israel good!” and TikTok due to not being US owned couldn’t have those in power shut info down and censor it the same. It’s in the US elites best interest for Israel to successfully carry out a genocide, and people cheering on this ban have unfortunately been fighting *against* their own freedom and future safety. Tesla says the "rust" is actually external stains that can be cleaned off with the right method. And some people have actually found that to be accurate.
