Bill , you should have also mentioned to check the condition of the seat. If the seat is corroded, a new washer in that scenario will not work and will still drip.
@@billshowto Thanks Bill, I am also a Handyman for 20 years and still watch how other people fix various things. It does not matter how good you are, you are always learning something new if you keep an open mind. Have you done a video on installing a new seat when the corrosion is too deep? Cheers
Hi Bill, I need to fix the exact problem, what size washers do I need to buy, are all washers the same size. Thank you for your video it was very helpful.
Another helpful video. Quite a few of your videos have made me look like I know what I'm doing when I fix things at home especially when you're an aussie demonstrating on Australia constructions. Would love to know what you would do to replace a shower mixer where the handle stick which screws into the body has snapped off and stops you from accessing any grub screws.
Bill, you're like the handyman Dad I never had. Thanks for all of your videos!!
Love your videos Bill! I also change the O ring and the fibre washer and apply a little tap grease to the spindle threads.
Saved me at least a hundred buck I reckon! Thanks so much Bill!
Brilliant, another job i wont be hesitant to attempt, you are saving me money with your easy to follow videos. Thanks so much.
You’re very welcome 👍👍👍
Thanks, very helpful especially the tip to loosen the spindle before screwing it back in.
You’re welcome 👍
Thank you, this was so helpful.
heaving on long fittings with a shifter without any back support is going to have a few unsuspecting punters calling a plumber
Thanks Bill, You Da Man!!
Obviously a legend
Thank you, Bill. Another great video. Cheers
:)

Seem the hot tap washers go more than the cold!

Dont think I have ever seen a washer that deteriorated before!
Cheap quality washers 👍
