Thank you to all the realtors who knowingly helped all the inept Get Into Homes. There was no way they could afford them, but after the brutal correction coming our way, they will now be affordable.
Depends how much convincing was done. If they were told, "now is your last chance of getting into a home", I would say the salesman bears some criticism. But the responsibility falls on the buyer and the salesman isn't losing his home and taking significant monetary losses.
@@datruth4766 I’ve never heard of anyone in the real estate industry tell someone it was their last chance to get into a home. There’s always a next home for sale. I’ve heard friends say they were afraid the cost of homes were getting beyond their means, but that was their interpretation of media reports and home shopping experiences.
Power of sale properties are often run down with significant deferred maintenance. If owners couldn’t pay the mortgage, they sure weren’t paying to keep the property kept well.
I do think prices will drop and inventory will increase.. But I think its hard to say what this will look like in the end. There are a lot of people in their prime working years that have been kept out of home ownership due to over leveraged investors and I think a lot of them will be able to afford their first home in 2025-26 ... That being said, I don't think any market changes will happen over night. Ignore the FOMO and watch the data.
@@mzimmerman1988 This is a great point. There’s just not enough inventory of single family detached homes to satisfy demand across the gta, and won’t be for years if ever.
Buyers in precon who lost there deposits are sueing some of the agents who brought them to the project. Sellers are renewing mortgages at a higher rate in 2025. You need two jobs to survive in Ontario.
You're doing a fantastic job! A bit off-topic, but I wanted to ask: My OKX wallet holds some USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (mistake turkey blossom warfare blade until bachelor fall squeeze today flee guitar). What's the best way to send them to Binance?
the vast majority of power of sales are houses... condo mortgages are relatively small. With a house you need dual incomes to get that 250k income to win that opportunity to get in a million dollar debt mortgage and if one of you loses your job, you in trouble, hence the power of sale..
I guess all the millionaire Uber drivers couldn't really afford their investment properties 😂

I'm not sure you can blame the car salesman for car accidents. The driver is at least mostly at fault.
Blaming people for doing their jobs and absolving those actually responsible. Classic.

Townhouses... infinite months of inventory...
Don’t take the current numbers too serious.

Condos are no longer liquid
Investors cannot offload their property and it goes to power of sale

I’m shocked!
Banks are not lowering rates because they know bunch of bad debts on the horizon and they want renewal customers to pay by not getting lower rates.
The crash gets delayed by poor gov and bank lobby policy and meddling but good to know is underway ...
Late 2000’s prices
