Am I the only one thinking it would have been absolutely hysterical if FL4K's new pet was a domesticated psycho? Like that would have been hilarious, and then his 2nd pet mod would be a tink and then last could be a jugg or goliath!
That would have been amazing! Plus, FL4K just doesn't think highly of humans, so it would be in charatcer.

It's good that they're adding new skill trees, because this will really help with build variety, but I kinda wish they'd finish fixing the old skill trees too.
The skill that let's him turn all the enemies in the trap is what Domination should have been. It was always kinda bad but now it's really useless
@@Adam-yq9xe Domination will also be fixed with the new update, it gets a strong taunt that makes all enemies ignore Flak. So it has some use now.

OK time to collect shields with the terror pet annointment 200%more dmg for a short duration
Unless they fix the inconsistencies of pet damage formula it can be a hit or miss if that anoint is useful. Sometimes if a pet does too many types of elemental then they cancel bonus damage. Terror gives fire, terror on weapon gives cryo, gamma gives radiation, and spiderant countess does corrosive. It feels like sometimes not all that is working and equally getting benefits. Probably the best shield to get that anoint on will be a Rico or Torch cause Rico has a high reflect chance and Torch reflects any damage not just bullets. Since your pet can receive a copy of your shield, that will pair well with gamma or fade away builds that rely on enemies attacking your pey
Try it with a faulty star. Free novas everywhere! Or maybe a redsuit or something

The trap confuses enemies, there's the dominant skill in the blue tree that allows you to take control of a single enemy and the dominant class mod that allows your pet to dominate enemies. I'm seeing a potential build right here.
Genuinely hyped to see a proper pet only build I really hope theres something really cool you can do with the 4th skill tree
I hope they do good by us Zane mains, these new skill trees for Fl4k and Amara are pretty awesome.
This looks awsome. We finally have a pet build! However they need to change the capstone from the blue tree so that we can have all pets active (even for a short time). Or they should add a class mod that gives us this ability
see my problem is the bot is always like getting stuck on buildings, not moving with me, and shooting walls when i ping an enemy. so im going down the rift tree first see if that helps

Pet ion loader with barbaric yawp is ... crazy ? 90% elemental resistance seems a little strong for pet bonus.
To be fully honest I'm not super impressed with the tree potential, but it synergizes well with gamma burst pet based builds and helps with survivability.
Shame the trap action skill is kinda useless since it can't do anything to bosses.
Sadly they nerfed barbaric yawp to 100% pet bonus (its on the official site/skill tree calculator)
I think this action skill will be great for mobbing though

The problem with monkey do is that 70% may seem high and semi regular but its wording implies it not multiplicative and is just gonna add base damage since the bonus damage is listed on the card as " X of WEAPON DAMAGE" so it might just be kind of meh if it adds the base damage after all the maths .

For maximum pets, make sure to grab the messy breakup shield for you and your pet as well as the hunter seeker grenades. Have your warloader and a bunch of "drones" kill everything for you. :D

Going bul loader shield tank build with shotguns and a shotgun pet. That sounds like a blast to have tankiness and ragdolls from both attack commands and my action skill
GUYS, watch Joltz's video on Mayhem 11. It's just a mode without modifiers and less world drops. All loot still drops on Mayhem 10, so NO, you don't have to refarm again. Stop freaking out.

OK... this skill is insane for tankiness.
With the other pet tree you might be able to become close to invincible with all the life leech and shield restoration.
Since I started my Fl4k a few days ago this is perfect timing
It'll be hard to do in a build, but the shield on crit seems really good for survivability, it will require going all the way down the new tree losing a ton of damage but wow

Loader pet with the shield copy works well with that shield that gives you a drone buddy. Drops from rex in the outskirts of lectra city or something. Not as good as a Roland which makes the blue skill tree for the pet survivability useless

So basically a tree you'd expect in the base character, with a pet that doesn't really fit the pet motif?
The movement speed would've been great for a melee pet... but no. In fact the kamikaze would've been great for a melee explosive pet with faster respawn, higher damage, and well you get the picture.
I feel like the tree could use some touch ups or the pet... but it is too late for them to likely change things.
Actually it fits the pet motif.
Most of the pets of fl4k are cyborgs.
They all have mechanical parts in some way.
So why shouldn't he be able to get a loader?
Yeah this one is really creative, makes the synergies go further to an ideal point and this is miles better than amaras.
However, I dislike the early dependence on pets to make a build, the end of the tree would synergize better with more builds giving more variety but unfortunately you will have to spend points with pet synergy either way.
That being said another weird thing is the direction to a "tankier" fl4k, I understand fl4k is the most difficult vh to play in the game given the risk and reward, and thats what the community was asking for but we already have gamma burst, another tanky skill tree is kinda weird because his direction was high risk and high damage, now its like another kinda tanky high damage vh (amara).
I heard someone talking about cross play for bl3 coming out, does anyone know if it’s gonna be pc and console cross play.

If the pet equips a copy of your shield, it also gets the same annointment, right? So if FL4K is wearing a Frozen Heart with the "trigger all effects on action skill start" annoint, you can use your pet as a mobile cryo bomb?

Im so glad fl4k finally gets shield boosting skills, the healing/health skills always seemed so pointless as fl4k is squishy and always paired best with a turtle type shield
I know they wont for a while but i feel like we need at least 3 or 4 more levels to really make full builds with these new skill trees. Just my though though

I saw the Mayhem 11. What is that? Enemies have extra health but no modifiers? (we can only hope...what It looked like.)

I was curious if the other pets could get the shield perks or if it's only for the robot pets.
Other pets get a shield too. The only perk that's loader exclusive is the exp loader transformation when pet goes down.

Honestly im worried about the late game balance, they spent so long fixing it after adding mayhem 10 so I hope they don't overshoot it again and need to start over. With the skill trees and mayhem 11 being this strong

I hope they also give Flaks other pets a Attack Command Move. I fear that the Loader will be superior to the other pets. I want to keep using my Spider Ant.

Stopped playing BL3 after the 1st DLC. Going to jump back in on the PS5 version. Will be a lot of new content to get through.
The game has improved a ton. There were a lot of problems with Mayhem 2.0, but they've pretty much all been resolved now. Especially with this update adding a new mode without modifiers.
Even without many raid bosses, it still feels like there's a lot to do.
These capstones feel so lackluster than the ones in bl2 and tps.
doesn't having a ranged pet "kill" all the others? or are they still useful? (I'm not really a flak guy so no clue how useful the pets even are)
the others are still very usefull for the bonuses they provide, especially when speced into barbaric yawp. but this is much stronger for the pets themselves.

Meh 3 skills are good and the bot can use stinger and your grenade but not that must have max purple skill tree. I think i will not use this tree as much but who knows 🤔 the m 11 is the best thing that comes to this game.

I have a feeling that this skill tree may be a bit overpowered at the moment, sure there will definitely be tweaks, nerfs, and buffs but as of right now it seems as its the best option between all the pets and will make the other ones feel almost entirely useless.
