- The stars and director of the biggest movie at Comic-Con - that would be Aquaman - sat down with Rotten Tomatoes on Saturday ahead of their Hall H panel. And with the trailer finally out there, Jason Momoa, Patrick Wilson, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Amber Heard, Nicole Kidman, and director James Wan were free to reveal fresh details about the movie (including villain Black Manta's suit).

People can stop comparing this film with thor because unlike loki and thor, orm and aquaman didn't grw up together. And if im not mistaken, Aquaman story was created in 1942 and thor was created in 1962. Marvel created thor 20 yrs after Aquaman.
Grace Ade but Thor is heavily based Norse mythology, which beats Aquaman by centuries if not longer. Aquaman is an original character. But your point is made.
Thor is a Norse god and the Norse mythology has existed longer than comic books. However, I do agree that Aquaman and Thor are different characters and shouldn't be compared to each other
Obviously, I wasnt talkin about Thor of the Norse mythology, I was talkin about DC and Marvel stories because some people keep on comparing the two comic characters. I think I mentioned "Marvel".

Black Manta especially the look of the armor looked incredible. The tech for the Armor and the laser beam especially looked amazing. Definitely the team-up between Manta/David Kane and Orm/Ocean Master is going to happen but they still won't trust each other. They will form a temporary alliance since their common enemy is Orin/Arthur Curry/Aquaman.

I didn't even realize that due to Blade, Black lighting, Cyborg, Steel, Meteor man, Luke Cage, Falcon, Black Panther, Wonder Woman (Israeli), Diablo and Deadshot from Suicide Squad, Spawn, A few guys from the DC CW shows, and many others throughout the years...but I guess hes the first brown superhero as the main character

God its such a vague term the dude is half german and hawaiian...I guess you could say he is one of the first to be of native descent being a super hero that would be more accurate I don't understand why he didn't say it like that. Brown is just a skin tone and its so vague it could be anyone from all over the world really...This black ,brown and white thing that the Americans use to categorize people is so stupid and over simplified...It doesn't really mean anything.

Wan said that the plan is to have Manta in multiple movies. And judging by the trailer, we'll get two fights between him and Arthur.
Samuel Myth He will be the villain for the second Aquaman movie and in Justice League legion of doom sequel movie so he is set.

I think because she is finally at peace. I saw her interview on her farm in Australia; she is so in love with hubby Kieth Urban, children, and her farm life; her horses, cows, pigs, chickens gathering her eggs, cooking; the whole bit. She had a rough go of it for awhile especialy with goofy TC.

Love Patrick Wilson, he's crazy hot all buffed out and with the dyed blonde hair!!! He's always handsome, but that look is wild! Also loved Dolph Ludgren with the long reddish hair. I hadn't seen any previews so I was surprised to see Nicole Kidman in the film, that was a super surprise. This film is really fun and just what the DCEU needed.
I loved Aquaman. Can’t wait to see part 2. Jason Momoa made him cool again. I thought everyone did great in their roles. Loved Patrick Wilson as Orm. He looked badass. Better than the rest.

I've been a comic book nerd and a fan of Aquaman since I was 8 years old. I am now 45. I'm so glad that DC has chosen this movie (and this character) to brighten their image and bring a little comedy back into their universe. For the last few years, I was beginning to think that DC stood for Dark and Cursed.

aquaman is a visual masterpiece , it had non stop entertaining high quality action sequences and epic visiual spectacle also atlantis , the suits and world building and creature designs were majestic and they did justice for the charachter now he is a badass and internationally loved by fans and he has the coolest suit ever and now he is the number 1 dc superhero , it was a magnificent journey under the ocean and it was entertaining and mind blowing in imax
