I love your videos. I am a (very) amateur player and whenever I play my (very) amateur friends, their strategy is always refusing to move any pieces out of their king's rank. I move out of the single corner and fight for the center, but ultimately I can't beat their strategy. I know there's got to be a simple way to do it. Could you do a video on how to beat this strategy?
An amateur player doesn't know much about the game but beats me everytime by simply not moving out of the king's rank. I feel like a video showing what to do against this would be very helpful to a lot of amateurs like me :)
Thanks for making these videos. They're really fun and therapeutic in their own way.

+Mark Alford Hi Mark! Your strategy is correct moving out your single corner man early when safe to do so and fighting for the center. Check out some other videos for example Think like a dynamic checker player, checker game workshop and play with a purpose and understanding the center. You are on the right path, when a player keeps all his man in the king rank, just keep on building your position, you have more checkers to work with against his strategy. Study some combinations and some end game play. Happy Holidays and Happy New Year!!

has there ever been any games played where neither oponent has got any kinged pieces on the board at all? ?(ie without promiting a piece to a king) I never managed to win a game without doing it, if so would you be willing to show how its done?

+84kingmartin - I have a [screen capture] of a win with no Kings. also, no players were taken, all 24 players are still on the board. I was playing White and Red ran out of moves, he was stymied. I have played thousands of games and it only happened once. I would like to see it reproduced, because I don't have a clue how it happened. I don't know if it's rare, or not?
