    Loved this diy vid. Only critique is panning the camera over the workbench with a narrow focus field just made it difficult to see all that was going on. Fantastic quality overall though!

      It looks more like narrow gauge climbing rope. Some sites selling them say 10mm.

      It’s a 12mm climbing rope. I got it from my local sport store

    I want to give this a try. Can you please tell me how thick the leather is? I definitely want something that that won't wear out and break while supporting my camera, but if I get it too thick, I may not be able to really work with it.
