They became legends of the land after they past, and they visited the dock every night, just to see if you were there
Pov: Your pirate father sang you this when you were a child, before he was never seen again. And you're hearing this in the dead of night while lost at sea.
Ehem, story time! The night sky is as black as the marking that got you exiled to a small island, barley larger than a tiny house. You only have 13 percent on your phone. You have no signal. No way to contact anyone. No rocks, trees, or sand. Your stuck. You're thirsty. So thirsty...so hungry... You take it your phone and start listening to this. It sounds...different. As if you are..connected to it. Its slower, it's echoing, and it's deeper than normal. It sounds almost like your father caring for you when you were younger. You start scrolling through your photos and find a picture of a man. With a similar marking on his cheek. So similar it could almost be yours. The song won't stop. Even when the phones off. It's like a warning. But to what? It feels like you are no longer alone. Your vision clouds as you fall Into a deep sleep. You awake, on a boat. A rescue boat. You open your eyes, then the boat suddenly stops with a struggle rocking motion. Everyone's screaming and nobody is paying attention to you. The song still playing. The boat rocks very harshly. A tail of a whale comes up and takes you. You feel a sense of numbness. You see the man with the marking. You then realize you were so dehydrated you didn't recognize your own father. He was lost at sea and was never seen again when you were 4. "I tried to warn you... I'm sorry (your name)...why didn't you listen to me?" He said. You don't know. "I told you to NEVER show your mark...why?" He asked. You walk towards him. You look him in his eyes. He hugs you...as if he's sorry he couldn't protect you. "I'm sorry.." you mutter to him before dropping down in a state of guilt.
Pov: Your parents who are pirates teach you this song since childhood, so that one day if they die, you will find their spirit sailing in the middle of the sea waiting for the wellerman to bring you more food to survive because your provitions run out, and find the whale that shows you the right way and gives you courage to find what your parents were looking for before they died.
POV: you were betrayed by your crew. They kicked you into the sea to die. You give up your life and swim down till you die. But, no matter how much you keep swimming you won’t die. And then you heard this song.. it sounded familiar.. and then you realize. This song was the song you always sang with your old pirate crew. As you keep swimming down you see a hand. It’s the hand of your best friend who died years ago. As soon you grabbed his hand the music ended and you woke up. It was all a dream and your just on the ship with your new crew.. you just remembered your old crew and keep thinking of the song that you and the old crew kept singing.. the song will stay in your head and it will never be forgotten.. it is almost like something or someone is trying to say something to you… but that can’t be real..
reminds me of one piece,Im in the marineford arc and it just reminds me of whitebeard standing tall and courageous with a giant smile on his face. that captain is truly remarkable.

STORY TIME You and your crew had just gotten out of a rough storm. Its now dark and its also extremely foggy. You and your crew had been lost at sea for a few days now and you hear the sound of pounding. You assumed it was the spare wood below deck hitting one another and continued steering your ship. Suddenly the sound of singing came. "Captain look!"one of the crew members said to you. You looked over to see a silhouette in the distance. the silhouette came closer as your eyes widened. It was the image of your dead grandfather who always sang this to you when you were a child. 'No wonder this song sounded oddly familiar..' you thought. After your grandfather finished singing, He points to the sea and disappears into mist as a Whale whom he knew came and took you all to safety. Now whenever you sail with the crew, You always had this experience in mind and vowed to look for what your grandfather and Father so desperately wanted to find until the day you die.
POV: The wellerman were supposed to be people who save you but they Betrayed you and didn’t save you. Your now listening to this song crying wishing someone would help you off this sinking ship.

STORY TIME I watched as waves break at the hull of the my father’s ship, the mighty Tide Bringer. Some called us pirates, others called us bringers of justice. We only stole from major threats to the people, we even ki//ed them sometimes. We were on the way to another target, Watcher Strongheart. My father came to my side, knowing this was my first time on a major heist. “You’re nervous aren’t ya, sweet?” He asked me, being the hot-headed boy I was I immediately burst in embarrassment, “n-no! I’m not scared at all! I can take on this Watcher fellow on my own with no trouble!” He just laughed at that, he knew me like the back of his hand. To be honest, I was terrified, I knew how dangerous these missions were, my father lost his arm and nearly his life on one. “Sweet, it’s normal ta be scared. I was terrified on my first mission, but look at how far I’ve come! It’s cause I got over that fear that I’m still here.” He began to hum the song called “Wellerman”, knowing that it always calms me down. I began to hum alongside him. We were interrupted by the lookout yelling “STRONGHEART’S BASE DEAD AHEAD!” We immediately grabbed weapons and began to dock. We had to be quiet, really quiet. We waited until Strongheart was alone, but he was doing a speech and it felt like forever. When he was finally alone, we striked. He called his guards, and the battle was on. I saw people dying all around me, both friends and enemies. My father was fighting with The Watcher himself, and I saw him struck down, and lose his life. My eyes widened at the sight of my own blood, dead, ki//Ed by the thing he swore to destroy. The watcher turned his gaze to me, “It seems like Icarus’s father flew too close to the sun this time! Ahaahah…” how’d he know my name?, more importantly, was was he tying me to the boy who flew too close to the sun? I drew back my bow, ready to fire. The sadistic man just laughed in the most menacing way, and raised his sword at me, “Kid you don’t know who you are dealing with. I’m a god! You can’t ki// me!” My wings fluttered in rage, he wasn’t a godsend, nor a god at all, if anything he was the devil’s spawn. I fired and our fight began. I flew upwards, and drew my bow, trying to stay out of reach. I was already badly damaged by the battle before, and I couldn’t stay up there for long. My wings failed me and I fell, but landed in some kind of small pond. It turned turquoise with my blood,I shambled out of the lake, barely alive. He looked at me with a merciful look, “look at you Icarus! You flew too close too the sun when you challenged me! Ending you will be mercy at this point.” My rage was undefinable at this point, I was blinded by it, I couldn’t even feel the blood flowing out of me. I latched onto my fathers sword, Tsunami and before that devil-spawn could even think I plunged it into his chest. “I’m not that fool who flew to his demise, I’m the one who flew alongside Poseidon, and he has helped me this day in your death, tell Hades I say hello.” “You fool! I.. am.. enternal..” and with that he took his final breath. I returned to the ship, nearly dead. The last remnants of the crew who were defending the Tide Bringer welcomed me with open arms. My brown hair began to turn partially teal, showing the sea god, the wellerman, was with this captain’s crew. I’m now captain of my father’s ship, and I haven’t died yet. Sometimes I see his ghost, a bright, proud smile on his face. It always hurts to see him with all those wounds, but I know he isn’t in pain anymore. Sometimes I hear his voice, telling me he’s so proud of me, that even though me an the boy who flew too close to the sun look so similar, I am not like him at all, I succeeded where he failed. Sometimes I hear the song, our song, being hummed across the sea, and I hum along with it. The harmonies we create sound exactly like the same ones we sung when I was a child. This Icarus didn’t fly too close to the sun, he flew past it. I actually cried writing this, this took forever. IM PUTTING THIS ON WATTPAD LES GOOOO

Story: one time a pirate has sent you to their home and has forced you to be the child of them but then you snuck out when you were still 4 so you decided to go off to shore then you see a man at the same Mark as you as you realize that it might be your father walking towards you check your phone battery and it's at 2% so you call your fake father fast as if you were running like a Cheetah so your real father calls out your name and (your name) that's all you heard them a music come from your phone called wellerman and u check your battery buts it's dead so u think to yourself: how is this playing when my phone is dead?.. as u think to yourself so you got home but it looked abandoned so u looked for a place but there was nothing left as sand in your mind and imagination . The end!
Why do I imagine the spirits of a dead crew they died at see but they stay with their ship that seemed to have never give to the harsh waves of the see seeming to stop the moment the crew died as if it's anger and playfulness has gone still when it realized it's playmates and friends have passed yet again now the calming waves that follow the ship now with the faint Aurora of the crew that now help and save and or let join their crew of they have passed if they help the living continue their life and as if the crew still sail the ship( which they do) they take them were they need to go but if the person is truly alone they are allowed to stay now a new and old crew now live on the ship and any who sail near this ship will hear the echo of the crew singing like sirens in the water but of gentle souls

We waited until Strongheart was alone, but he was doing a speech and it felt like forever. When he was finally alone, we striked. He called his guards, and the battle was on. I saw people dying all around me, both friends and enemies. My father was fighting with The Watcher himself, and I saw him struck down, and lose his life. My eyes widened at the sight of my own blood, dead, ki//Ed by the thing he swore to destroy. The watcher turned his gaze to me, “It seems like Icarus’s father flew too close to the sun this time! Ahaahah…” how’d he know my name?, more importantly, was was he tying me to the boy who flew too close to the sun? I drew back my bow, ready to fire. The sadistic man just laughed in the most menacing way, and raised his sword at me, “Kid you don’t know who you are dealing with. I’m a god! You can’t ki// me!” My wings fluttered in rage, he wasn’t a godsend, nor a god at all, if anything he was the devil’s spawn. I fired and our fight began. I flew upwards, and drew my bow, trying to stay out of reach. I was already badly damaged by the battle before, and I couldn’t stay up there for long. My wings failed me and I fell, but landed in some kind of small pond. It turned turquoise with my blood,I shambled out of the lake, barely alive. He looked at me with a merciful look, “look at you Icarus! You flew too close too the sun when you challenged me! Ending you will be mercy at this point.” My rage was undefinable at this point, I was blinded by it, I couldn’t even feel the blood flowing out of me. I latched onto my fathers sword, Tsunami and before that devil-spawn could even think I plunged it into his chest.
“I’m not that fool who flew to his demise, I’m the one who flew alongside Poseidon, and he has helped me this day in your death, tell Hades I say hello.”
“You fool! I.. am.. enternal..” and with that he took his final breath.
I returned to the ship, nearly dead. The last remnants of the crew who were defending the Tide Bringer welcomed me with open arms. My brown hair began to turn partially teal, showing the sea god, the wellerman, was with this captain’s crew. I’m now captain of my father’s ship, and I haven’t died yet. Sometimes I see his ghost, a bright, proud smile on his face. It always hurts to see him with all those wounds, but I know he isn’t in pain anymore. Sometimes I hear his voice, telling me he’s so proud of me, that even though me an the boy who flew too close to the sun look so similar, I am not like him at all, I succeeded where he failed. Sometimes I hear the song, our song, being hummed across the sea, and I hum along with it. The harmonies we create sound exactly like the same ones we sung when I was a child.
This Icarus didn’t fly too close to the sun, he flew past it.

Why do I imagine the spirits of a dead crew they died at see but they stay with their ship that seemed to have never give to the harsh waves of the see seeming to stop the moment the crew died as if it's anger and playfulness has gone still when it realized it's playmates and friends have passed yet again now the calming waves that follow the ship now with the faint Aurora of the crew that now help and save and or let join their crew of they have passed if they help the living continue their life and as if the crew still sail the ship( which they do) they take them were they need to go but if the person is truly alone they are allowed to stay now a new and old crew now live on the ship and any who sail near this ship will hear the echo of the crew singing like sirens in the water but of gentle souls
