It is often not so easy to balancing a 9-5 job and painting and other personal projects. In this video I want to show you what I can get done after finishing at 5. Not that much... :D I wish I could work longer on my personal projects soon! But I am soo grateful for having this amazing art studio and to have a place where I can focus on my own things.

Such a lovely channel, I am thankful to youtube algorythms to show me you, Maja. I recently moved to Spai and live not far from Barcelona and I am looking for new art people in the area as I am an artist too. I will watch your other videos! But I have a quick question - what art shop is considered best in the city? Which one do you like the most? I really would love to paint bigger format, but I need some supplies. Subscribed for sure!

Thank you for your question. I usually go to a really small one called "Belles Arts Ferran" because it is close to my place and I like the people there. For canvases I always go to "Casa Piera" in Raval because I think they have the best quality and almost every size. I recently discovered a really big store called "Barna Art" in L'Eixample which is perfect for different paint. They have so many options and different brands. And this is the best store to buy oil sticks. They have such a big variety of different sticks and brands and it is the only store were I found the oil sticks from the brand "R&F". Maybe I will make a video about this topic one day, thank you for the idea :D I subscribed too, can't wait to see more from you!
@@malumias thank you so much for all the names, I will put them to my map and visit those store. I missed a moment when acrylic became so fkn expensive haha. I used to have a stash at home, but not I need to buy new and i was eyeing the options! Also yes, yes, we definitely should stay connected. Catalan and Spanish artists are aplenty here, but not all of them use English as their main communication language which is understandable, duh. Ad my spanish is still pretty basic. So happy to find you!
@@VeraGolosovaArt Yes everything is super expensive, it is annoying :D Recently I bought an oil stick for 23 EUR... Yes that is soo awesome that we have so many artists here. Actually I am still learning Spanish and are at the beginning but I really would like to practice it more. I am happy too that I find you and that we can stay connected!! :)

As always, a very cool and interesting video about your life in Barcelona and your work as an artist. I love the balance between information, relaxing music and the scenes of the street life of Barcelona. I think you should bring some wine glasses to your studio to enjoy a glass of wine and not use a bowl for drinking 😂😂. You get some real cool glasses at Ikea which are not so expensive. And you should really think about installing an online shop for your paintings. When you have some big paintings in stock you should do this. I think there are many people outside who will buy original artwork instead of printings. Your paintings have so nice colours and they are so lovely composed, I think they will fit the walls of some cool apartements in Barcelona. And you should give them titles, because they are parts of your life and they are created out of some emotions and incidents in your life. I love your videos and I am always happy to enjoy a new one. 😍😍😍❤❤❤😎
