Its kinda annoying to me when people start to hate on Onimai because most of the casts are middle school girls. When, an anime is about middle school boys doing stuff and nobody cares. Double standards and hypocrite at its best.
I love Onimai but I mean look at the show 💀 we see the cast (middle schoolers) in the changing rooms, and onsen. I think people have a right to not like this show. Tbh I don’t think there is an anime that fetishizes middle school boys but I could be wrong
@@iluvcat Like I said, it seems when it comes to female characters in anime some people will go "Twitter' mode when the female characters go half naked or show some skin. If you reverse the gender nobody cares and pretend nothing is going on.
@@kolla5415 There is literally a scene in like the 4th episode where they heavily imply the gender-bent brother and his sister are having sex plus a scene where the brother chooses to watch her sister moan orgasmically while she gets massaged in between her legs bruh. And a lot of the shots are closeups of their asses in tight clothes too, like in the opening or when they went shopping for bikinis. Not to mention the god forsaken jiggle physics in this show, and the over-sexualised nature of Kaede, despite her being a kind hearted character. There is really no way to defend this show when people say “They over-sexualise schoolgirls” because it’s true. I guess it’s just a matter of preference - whether or not you feel comfortable with implied sexual scenes and seeing underage girls have their nipples barely covered by their hair in the shower scenes or not. This anime has a target audience that I don’t want to be a part of - I’ll watch it once and never speak of it again until season 2 💀
And a lot are middle schoolers 💀 By the way, the manga is way more wholesome (or at least less explicit). Dont know why they change it in the anime (probably to sell more)
@@dabb8145 "uhmm ackhsually they aren't real, they are just fictional characters 🤓" "well they're just pictures" I hate when people use those kinds of excuses
Much of the charm of the manga comes from the fact that it is WAY more wholesome than the premise would lead you to believe. Sure, there are suggestive moments, but they're not too frequent, and they're usually kept tasteful ...usually. However the excess of blatant fanservice in the anime somewhat spoils the wholesome vibe. There are plenty of examples where scenes and character designs were slightly changed to make them sexier and more suggestive. It's a little off putting. Now I can't recommend this series to my friends without running the risk of being branded a pervert!
When people say it’s wholesome it’s not because of this 💀 it’s because of the plot and character development, if you can ignore the weird sexual stuff then it can be wholesome
i legit thought no one will do this so i just rewatch the whole show just to get all of the ONIMAI
