No no bro please go with AS 10 ( i.e., from the definition given in AS 10 it can be concluded that
PPE refers to tangible items that meet two key conditions:
1. Held for Use: These items are held for production or supply of goods or services, rental to others, or administrative purposes.
2. Duration: They are expected to be used for more than 12 months.
From above it is clear that intangible items can't be PPE as definition itself includes only tangible items , work in progress as well as intangible items under development also can't be classified as PPE as definition itself includes only those items which is held for
1. Production
2.supply
3.service
3.rental
4. Administration
And work in progress assets are unable to satisfy any of the above conditions)
