Because going into the mid-2000s; TNA prioritized signing pre-established names from WWE/wCw (Christian Cage, Sting, Kurt Angle, etc.) rather than establishing their own homegrown talent (Monty Brown, AJ Styles, Samoa Joe, etc.) Ron Killings also fell into this trope; he was amongst the first of pre-established names from (at that point) WWF that TNA ended up signing. What did they do? Pushed him almost immediately; made him the first ever black man to win the NWA world championship. If Truth decided to stay in TNA instead of opting to go back to the WWE; I wouldn't doubt they would've brought him back into the main event contention, whenever the time was right. I think they probably would've had Truth feud Booker T, and get Truth into Main Event Mafia, instead of Christian Cage _-who knows?_
Really just now realizing that he had this theme in TNA😭 I’m upset that I didn’t catch this as a kid… I was an active fan of TNA and WWE back then, like I was the kid putting my family and friends onto AJ Styles, Telling them where Kurt Angle went after he left the Fed, and I made my dad buy the ppv where R Truth and PAC Man Jones tagged together
The only thing that's weird about this is, Truth really doesn't sound anything like this when he raps it every time he enters lmao. What did he do to sound like this?
Wish they actually used him better.. he has so much more potential then what wwe does to him at tna he was there world champion for a long time why can't wwe ever let guys like this shine not even for a us title shot or even interconitentinal championship or even have him go for the wwe champion he has potential and still moves better then some guys that been in the business
He does, but different versions used in WWE belongs to them also, for example, if Truth will move to AEW then he can't use those WWE versions, but he can use this one, especially right now when TNA and AEW are business partners, Christian is proving that)))
@Ken Managbanag I think the days of truth being a serious wrestler are over. If you didn't catch his TNA run then sucks to sucks. The freedom WWE gives him to do his outside businesses whilst still getting liveable salary and technically holding the most title reigns out of any WWE superstar ever for any title. I don't think he's leaving anytime song
I remember the angle they had before some WrestleMania where they were stealing the Intercontinental Championship week after week. That championship really looked good on R Truth. He should have won that if they don’t plan on giving him a World Championship run.
He's making fat stacks of dough in comedy segments, all while being the most decorated champion in the biggest wrestling company in the world. I'm sure he totally misses hour long matches in front of the same 90 people in the impact zone
Yes. He made all his themes. But this song was used in TNA since 2006 and stayed with Killings (that was one of the conditions that Killings had when he was talking about his comeback to WWE in 2008).
One WWE/world title run for R truth before he retires. I know he is old, but they should make an exception in his case. If I start a petition, would you guys support it?
The benefits of making your own music
and the company let you use it 100!
Ussssaaa usssa ussssaa !!!!!!
Amen
@@BoutDatOnline cause Truth made it easier for WWE not to pay Jim Johnston for a new theme lol!!!
@@KingLabbizzle Good thing. I love Jim J, but this theme is a banger. He didn’t need a new theme.
R-Truth, the only wrestler that can claim to have the same theme in two different promotions, WWE and TNA, since 2006.
Uh, cm punk?
@@GhostBoytv technically Punk has had that song in 3. WWE, UFC and AEW
Dude Cody used his theme in at least TEN promotions lol
@@GhostBoytv R-Truth actually sings his song and own the rights.
Who were the others before '06?
And would continue to use this in WWE
But the remix version meaning without the intro🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️
Its only the guitar version
@@Keefermansbruh truth used the rap version from 2010-2013 then they used the instrumental version
I noticed that the WWE version was a remix but with the original lyrics censored.
One of the baddest niggas ever step foot in the game is the censored line
They had the lyrics at one point, apparently I heard that JBL kept "ribbing" him about it.
They were pg
He still does the song, but he changes the lyrics, depending on where he is
And now the raw tag team champions
This song is almost 20 years strong can we celebrate this brotha wassup!!!!!!
Ron "The Truth" Killings aka R Truth is the most underrated wrestler of all time
2011 Heel R-Truth should’ve beat Cena at Capital Punishment
R Truth Most Underrated Superstar
I need the first 5 seconds on repeat idk what it is but that piano gives me chills in the best way possible
He just did this live on RAW. 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥Even Travis Scott showed up to acknowledge the tribal truth ☝🏻
2 Time NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champ
First black NWA World's Heavyweight Champion. (Bobo Brazil had an unofficial - and unrecognized - reign as NWA world champion.)
But they treat him like a clown.
R-truth’s own song he owns
I love this Song "What's Up"
Love this theme!
Yeah I forgot he was in tna
everyone talks about cody rhodes bring entrance theme from aew to wwe but no one remember this
TNA really didn’t do much with him after the Kru broke up
true... He was paired with Pacman Jones and then he went to WWE again

Welcome back, big guy.
Best theme ever
That theme got used in WWE
BETTER CAREER IN TNA
Wasnt he the 1st black world champ there

Finally they uploaded this man bro where is his tron

he's the only guy who got me into wrestling❤️
2022 and I still bump this! So what's up!
