Klos was probably the highest paid player in the world at that time. God bless EBT's
great player definitely saved us a few times that game
How we won that game still baffles me, we spent the majority of it with our backs against the wall. One of the sweetest old firm wins in my lifetime. 🔴⚪🔵
Was trying to remember which Old Firm game it was where Klos stopped everything we threw at him, and it was this one. It really was a Goram-esque performance.
As a Celtic fan, I always thought the standard in goalkeepers was the biggest difference between Celtic and Rangers in the '90s and early '00s. Where the likes of Laudrup, Albertz and Gascoigne get most of the plaudits, and fair enough, at times Goram and Klos (and later McGregor) were unbeatable and just as vital to Rangers' success. Whilst Rangers had stability with world class keepers like Goram and Klos, during the same period Celtic continuously chopped and changed with a way-past-it Pat Bonner, Gordon Marshall, Carl Muggleton, Stewart Kerr and Jonathan Gould. No contest.
I've often thought if it wasn't for Andy Goram and Richard Gough in the '95-'96 season, I think Celtic might just have pipped Rangers to the league that season. Goram and Gough were absolutely the difference in the Old Firm games that season. Credit where it's due.
Still to this day the keeper thing is true
Love the vids
Glad you enjoy them 💙
Wee Rodney SHOWS Varooka How it's done :)
hahahahaha
Der goalie
All you have is your memories 😂😂😂😂😂😂 🍀 ☘️ 🍀
Still love how the ragin ball bhoy tries to kick it out after it's hit the back of the net 😂😂😂
my favourite part 🤣
The best save of all isn’t even in the highlights….
The one in the last minute from Burchill trumps the lot.
Nobody compares❤️🤍💙
Celctic and Rangers are probably at League 1 level in English league - Championship at best, if they were having a good season. Scuuuuuuuuuuuuuutish football is pretty much a joke...
Rangers literally got to the Europa League final last month mate, the furthest in ANY European competition by ANY British team apart from Liverpool... How many League 1 or English Championship teams would manage that? Stay off the crack.... If Rangers and Celtic had the funds available to English Premier League teams and played in their football in England they would be top 6 in the English Prem every year, there's only a handful of English teams that are as big as the Old Firm.
Well said uncle 👍
@@unclesnakehips6810 hahahaha - and lost to some foreign league 2 club. clearly you're pissed on the wee whisky...
@@B.A.Pilgrim lost on penalties lol to the same “foreign league 2” club that pumped the mighty English Premier League West Ham over 2 legs 🤣🤣 think you’re the one that’s pissed mate
