It wouldn't be an East Coast tractor without a fish tub weight box! Love those 885's! I've never seen too many of them with loaders, though. Merry Christmas! John
I see so many people irl that can go in straight enough to put it on and I keep trying to tell them to put it into a crawl gear. Is it just me that has this problem trying to teach other people🤣
I have a Case 885 David Brown, I want to put a loader on it but I don't think the internal Hydraulics can handle it, Does yours work off internal hydraulics or does it have a external pump? Thanks for any help. Steve
Internal hydraulics. This is the Model 55 loader built by Case for this tractor. I;m sure it would be faster if you ran a PTO driven pump, but this setup works just fine. Thanks for watching.
Thanks, I thought about a PTO pump but it would be hard to control with the 2 position clutch controlling the pto shaft. Glad to hear internal will work. Thanks
Would you be willing to inform me of the cost of an injection pump for the DAVID BROWN 900 model in the US? And I bought a david bron model 900 tractor, since this tractor is not popular here in Brazil could you help me with something?
I honestly don’t remember what fixed it. I can’t even remember what it was doing that needed to be fixed, whether it was not staying up or was erratic I’m not sure. I probably did a video on it, would have been June 2016 ish
@@macfarms it would be ok in the right hands doing the right kind of work. But you woulded want some man ramming it slap into everything.I though the loader would be sore on the lift?

I was wondering if someone would catch that lol. The 885 has been a great tractor over the years, one of our favourites. Merry Christmas.
My cousins up in Bathurst have one and it has been through the Boer war and back but they still use it for raking hay every summer.
I believe it. This one has ran our haybine every summer for the last 40 years, used to do more loader work with it but not so much anymore.
Very nice set up
Thanks
Nice video and merry Christmas

Yes you are right I never thought about that.
Hi Mac, looking at a 1410 Davd Brown up for grabs. Are parts readily available for these old machines. Thanks in advance, Alan.
They seem to be, they have a pretty good following over in the UK and that’s where most of the parts will be found for them.

What price its need for installing this model (david brown 885) please
No idea the loader was put on the tractor 45 years ago.
Very good films :)
Have you ever had hydraulic issues with that David Brown?
Just some minor stuff with the 3pt hitch.
Mac Farms was it o-rings?

Mac Farms hahaha like me, i dont remember shit
Exactly lol. I’ve slept since, can’t remember haha
Cool video.
Db 885 is light for a loader.
She wouled need to get much abuse.
Have been running the loader on it for 40 years can't say it's caused many issues with the tractor. Loader itself is nearly worn out though.
