Been hurting to play this since the beta and got home today after picking up some Stuffing for Thanksgiving and there was a little gift bag sitting on my gaming desk and it was a Copy of Battlefield 6 gifted from my wife..guess she got tired of seeing me watching it all the time. They did NOT nail it at all lmao. No persistent servers and the maps are way too small, with repetitive styles/design and awfully designed. Only Manhattan Bridge is somewhat decent.

@CocoNoot-q3i5w Battlefield tweeted that Chronuses were being flagged by the anti cheat, which is what has been plaguing FPS games from the start since they're basically undetectable. If you think jackfrags is cheating, think again because it's basically impossible in Battlefield 6.

I really like escalation as well. The increasing rate of vehicles spawning and shrinking of objectives as thr game progresses actually seems to create a frontline war of one side of the map against the other much more than the chaos of Conquest.

I actually think in this came, Escalation and Breakthrough is better than Conquest. Some of the maps I don’t think are best suited for conquest (although I thought the same about a couple BF1 maps when it first came out like Suez)
@RhinoGaming438the map size is too small for conquest but its good for escalation since its more chaos. The small maps which like 2 vehicles means you just get exploded from everywhere and nothing really happens in conquest

I've not had more fun in recent times than teaming with a buddy in the attack helicopter. When you have a good pilot and good coordination, you can be an absolute menace.
I love these epic heli / bomber runs on Battlefield games. It takes a good crew to make it work well and that's what makes it so satisfying to watch. Cannot imagine how tilted the enemy would have been 😅
In 2042 the secondary vehicle weapons are just confetti shooters, in bf6 they do something, finally.
I hopped in the gunner seat of a tank today in breakthrough and got a shock at how good it was. I repaired, manned the guns and we wrecked. ‘Twas fun
its almost more fun to just be a gunner than driving

@JeffrikOG9 100% more fun being the gunner. I got the HMG on my tank and it wrecks people. My buddy and I single hand won a few breakthrough just steam rolling in the tank.
I don’t even like helicopter gameplay but this was truly one of the best battlefield videos I’ve seen

I’m still convinced this is just a bigger version of call of duty. Can’t stand the ammo count, can’t stand the time to kill, and maps still feel small outside of conquest and even still some of those maps feel so small and congested. Not a fan of this game at all.
@jamescarter6018play support if you can’t stand ammo count. Also if you play assault with a third gun your primary splits ammo with the third weapon
@jamescarter6018 They for sure went for smaller maps....because I can bet you the larger maps heat maps showed that people were not using ALL of those large maps. Think about the largest maps in the past and how there were a ton of DEAD areas being unused as well as capture points people never went to much.
We are getting some larger maps but me personally am fine with medium maps that are denser like Manhattan Bridge.

I am glad they made the out of bounds timer so short. In bf2042 the pilots usually just went out of bounds as long as they wanted and repaired. Here u only have 2 seconds

There is about a one second period after you repair that your character still acts as if you are pressing the trigger. this will often cause people to fire weapons on the heli when they enter and also apparently fire rpgs

Glad you're liking escaltion, it's my favorite mode now too. It's basically an improved version of Conquest but with more hectic combat and a fuck ton of vehicles
I just played 4-5 rounds and DAMN it is better than CONQUEST. Same concept but better. Conquest was honestly getting stale and this new mode spices it up. It also makes the maps play out much better than conquest.

Play some Vehicles too.. They are part of it. You will see a lot of things wrong with Battlefield 6. Not because Battlefield 4 did it another way - Because it doesn't represent the series and clearly they want to get more people liking battlefield.

Battlefield is so back!! Takes me right back to Battlefield 1, Battlefield 3, and the Bad Company days. Takes the best part of those and dials it up with great thoughtful improvements this time around. Would just love more maps!

Less CoD style maps and more big maps would make it perfect.
People are focused way too much on map size. The bigger problem is the instant respawn and super fast health regeneration. Clearing objectives doesn't matter when the enemy can instantly respawn right back onto the objective.
@DoobSac you can not respawn onto the objective if there is enemies. Do not camp and push enemies, that's how you win the game.
@DoobSac well its not just size but fly zones and overall design with maps like empire state which are also fairly small on conquest its just pain man its like playing death match like i liked Metro in BF3 and it was not big map but you were not getting farmed from all side vertically and horizontally
the sad truth is that large maps are boring. theres a reason why people vote for namak all the time.

Yep, I get it it's a fun game but not perfect, there are a lot of issues with it that you see if you play a bit longer and know the past games. But you can't even say that's there are issues without saying its bad.. People just get mad, say you just need to shut up because they enjoy it.
We don't want to ruin it for anyone. It's just like there are actual issues and we NEED to talk about them. Otherwise we will never get a true battlefield again.. Just imagine the left out potential if we just shut up like the people say. Would be sad.

Agreed. Wayyy better bones here than 2042, but the lack of franchise defining sandbox feel in these frantically paced maps to lure in some COD base is a missed opportunity at launch. It's fine to try and grow the game with that approach, but if this map design continues going forward, it will get old fast.

The hyperbole around this game is borderline ridiculous. We've all been conditioned into thinking a game is the the best game ever made, simply because it works! I mean, there's still a lot of issues with this at the moment, the maps are still way way too small and there's something 'off' with the movement. I think more honesty is needed IMHO. It's decent, a solid 7.5/10 but there is a lot of room for improvement. And... where are the big maps!? We have 2...
