What gets me about all JKD practitioners at a certain level is that they're all so explosive. Even the big guys look like they go from 0 to 60 in a blink of an eye.
it's a shame. Bruce was developing such a revolutionary martial art with many elements ranging from regular box, shadowboxing, Jiu Jitsu, Judo. too bad he didn't have enough time to continue with his progress
it's not too bad. it's called mma now and it's a mix of all effective martial arts. There is no eye gouging and ball smashing though. mma fighters wouldn't be able to have kids lol
If you like these awesome videos of Instructor Yori, please consider donating a small amount to his GoFundMe Medical Fund page: www.gofundme.com/yorinakamura Instructor Yori had serious training-related injuries not long ago. To help with his recovery and its associated medical finances, *any* amount (small or large), is greatly appreciated. He's helped huge numbers of people learn martial arts - often traveling to them at their locations around the country and various other countries too. Now, he could use a little help himself at his medical fund: www.gofundme.com/yorinakamura
I like this guy a lot..seems like he understood best what bruce was trying to do ..but he looks not to have brought anything new to the art...things are supposed to evolve you know
+Ulpsz Ulpsz considering there's more to it than looking from the outside in I'd say there's hundreds of new applications and tweaks you're unaware of lol
Bruce dismissed the trapping crap in this video and probably a lot of the techniques shown. But yet the Inosanto linage still teach it as JKD. Sad really. Simplicity. Where is the simplicity????????
What you'd be looking for is the Ted Wong linage of JKD then, that one's more focused on counter attack and draws stronger to the fencing/boxing root apprently.
Probably the most complete Jeet Kune Do practitioner I've seen yet.
Yori Nakamura is an excellent Martial Arts instructor.

This man is no joke.
3:48 Anaconda Vice (which means his usage predates Hiroyoshi Tenzan's, who is always credited as the innovator of the move)
Really like that take down! 😃

Bullshit evole might be the wrong word if you guys would look at the techniques and body movements of different martial arts
Here we see Yori Nakamura demonstrating the lethal art of Silat.

@@seriouscomment8311 that’s what it seems. Tommy Carruthers seems to have a good idea of JKD
