Hey there! Welcome to the series premiere of Shimario’s Rap Battles! Today we have a battle between two of the most iconic platforming mascots in all of gaming! We have Super Mario, the Italian Platforming Plumber of the Mushroom Kingdom, going against Kirby, the pink gumball from the planet Popstar! mario is a fictional character created by japanese video game designer shigeru miyamoto. he is the title character of the video game franchise of the same name and the mascot of japanese video game company nintendo. mario has appeared in over 200 video games since his creation. depicted as a short, pudgy, italian plumber who resides in the mushroom kingdom, his adventures generally center on rescuing princess peach from the koopa villain bowser. mario has access to a variety of power-ups that give him different abilities. mario's fraternal twin brother is luigi.
super mario is a 2D and 3D platform game series created by nintendo based on and starring the fictional plumber mario. alternatively called the super mario bros. series or simply the mario series, it is the central series of the greater mario franchise. at least one super mario game has been released for every major nintendo video game console. there are over twenty games in the series.
kirby is a fictional character and the titular protagonist of the kirby series of video games owned by nintendo and hal laboratory. he first appeared in kirby's dream land (1992), a platform game, for the game boy. kirby is well known for his ability to inhale objects and creatures to gain their powers, as well as his ability to float by expanding his body. he uses these abilities to rescue various lands, including his homeworld of planet popstar, from evil forces and antagonists, such as dark matter or nightmare. the kirby series is an action-platform video game series developed by hal laboratory and published by nintendo. the series centers around the adventures of a pink hero named kirby as he fights to protect and save his home on the distant planet popstar from a variety of threats. the majority of the games in the series are side-scrolling platformers with puzzle-solving and beat 'em up elements. kirby has the ability to inhale enemies and objects into his mouth, spitting them out as a projectile or eating them. if he eats certain things he can gain the powers or properties of that object manifesting as a new weapon or power-up called a copy ability.
I personally think Kirby had the better disses. I’m definitely glad the song was given the respect it deserves. I grew up in a time we’re both games for instrumental in my childhood and everybody was talking about them. So it was nice to see both of them given a fair shot. Personally I like Kirby’s disses a little bit better, but Mario did a good job.
So glad to see this audio given a proper video treatment! Also I love how Forgotten Land simultaneously made one of the bars age super well and another terribly XD

Oh, wow. This is close. On one hand Mario was fluid with his roasts, on the other Kirby had some really good ones that hit Mario hard. I'm gonna say for now, Mario. Good job on this.

Only issue is that line isn't strictly true due to the most recent game coming out so it kind of just ruins the bar. You can't win a rap battle from a lie

I think Mario won overall...when he said that Kirby is too alike of Pac-Man. Kirby did best in his first verse when he said that Mario has dirt on his name (torture against his former pet, Donkey Kong) and when he said that Mario is stealing the kingdom's treasure.
