Jordan is a better scorer, it's pretty laughable, he was way more efficient, more scoring titles and higher PPG average career wise.

yes mike was way more efficient than kobe. he took easier, smarter shots. that being said, kobe was a way better three point shooter than Jordan. this in my opinion is a big factor in why i say Kobe is the better scorer. Kobe took a lot of tough shots which is why his efficiency is lower than mikes, but he was so good at making them and made it look easy. MJ was a dominant force with big hands and freakish athletic ability, kobe was more finesse and pure talent the way he slithers through the defense and hit perfect fade away jumpers. just me personally i think his offensive game had absolutely zero flaws. the way he scored 60 in his last game at 37 years old with no knees is something only he could do. he was a natural born scorer. this isn't even mentioning his 81 point game, 63 points in three quarters game and many others.
62 in 3 quarters* Kobe didn't play as good in the playoffs where it really mattered, Kobe just had more skill and was probably more fun to watch, that being said Michael would take fadeaways as well and he was efficient with it, whereas Kobe would jack up shots play horrible shooting wise in the finals and was overrated in the clutch, MJ had 1 flaw, and it was the 3pt shot, but Kobe isn't much of a better 3pt shooter himself, they both shot 32/33% throughout their careers but Jordan would show up in big moments, was way more clutch and efficient, had 8 more scoring titles, had a highest PPG Average in the playoffs and in NBA History, only reason Kobe is ranked higher in the all time scoring list is because he played WAY more seasons and shot WAY more than him.

The most overrated player in NBA history. People who say he's the second greatest to or somehow even greater than Jordan forget how great Jordan was defensively. Kobe could score, and he was incredible at it. But he was nowhere near one of the greatest defenders of all time. And he still was no where near Jordan's level as a scorer. You can bring up Kobe's great regular season totals (ex. 81 points in a game against a shitty Toronto Raptors team) all you want. But in the postseason, when it counted, Jordan's numbers were astronomical (ex. 63 points in a playoff game against a Boston Celtics team that's widely regarded as one of the best teams ever)

Steph curry doesn't even have to deal with hand-checking, ever, while MJ did and still averaged insane numbers. And a lot of other teams did adopt that style of play, although not as much. I can immediately recall the 76ers trying that out while Barkley still played for them
+Alijah Taylor Kobe also made the all-star team 18 times, even though he absolutely didn't actually earn at least 2-3 of them and was just voted in by kobetards (one of them was this year because he was retiring, so depending on your opinion, should or shouldn't actually factor in to how good he was). There are a lot of accolades that he was given that he didn't actually deserve. First and foremost being selected for first team all defense the same number of times as Michael Jordan, Gary Payton, and Kevin Garnett. Three of those four names belong, while Kobe absolutely fuckin doesn't
