Great video and what a beautiful river and creeks feeding into it. Your observations are on point...northern smallies are built different and definitely pissed off when you hook them. The 2nd point about the scenery especially in MI,northern Wisconsin, the U-P and Minnesota is you feel the wild and it's not hard to get lost in the awe and splendor. And yeah the fish may not be seeing as many lures as your river fish. Blessings brother

I would have gotten snagged so many times but it had beautiful scenery made me wish i still had my kayak had to sell it to make some money wife got sick so had to quit my job but hopping things pick back up but i love it when fiah eat that way just recking that spinner bait beautiful smallies

Not trying to be critical, but if that little creek was so awesome, was there some reason why you flew down it like Dale Earnhardt? Would have thought you'd have slowed down and worked it.
1: pre-fishing, the goal is the catch a few to check size, and avoid sore lipping to many more.
2: there was about 3.5-4 mph of current pushing through there.
What was the app you were using??
