Very informative video for new BA! To keep it simple, I've learned that the key difference between requirements documentation in Waterfall and Agile projects lies in the fact that requirements in Waterfall projects are usually written in Use Case format along with supporting models whereas requirements in Agile projects are usually written in User Story format along with supporting models. And BRD is the central document used to capture all requirements in Waterfall projects whereas Product Backlog is the central artifact used to capture all requirements in Agile projects.
Very Informative and a great guide for those who are new to it.....one request can u please upload a sample BRD and FRD documents for the same....it would be of great help
i have watched all the videos in playlist BA in 2 days and there are so easy to understand and helpful for all the BA beginners. Subscribed and will definitely watch all the future videos too.. Thank for the Upload !!!
Hi, firstly thanks for differentiating between BRD & FRD. I have a query, FRD steps should be part of BRD document or always should be a separate or standalone doc? Please guide on this.. Thanks in advance
BRD and FRD are two different documents always. As shown in video FRD references to BRD for the business requirements and the link to BRD can be embedded in FRD
Brd is for capturing the business requirements ( the what part) and frd is for capturing the functional requirements or system requirements (the how part)
Hello, BRD is used in waterfall model of software development to capture business requirements . User story and Epics are used for the same in agile methodology of software development
