Great video! Nice cocktails choice, everyone will find something 👍 This channel needs more subs! Honey Paloma and Bees Knees are also my type of drinks 🥂
Thanks, I'm really just getting started. I had a recent move out of state, so I had to take a time out. Now building my actual studio and look forward to cranking out more vids and growing the subs!
oh yeah, thats sounds really good. Ive done a lot of riffs on that drink over the years. I had it on a menu as a staple for at least 8 years with a sage infused gin. - sold like hotcakes!
Bees Knees has always been a go to for me. I use to make it with a sage leaf in the shaker, and then moved to a sage infusion. you've got to try it with the sage. (also dam good with rhubarb) The gold rush is one of those drinks that really brings out the whiskey while softening it with the mix.
Great lineup. I've always had trouble with honey and didn't know the trick with making a syrup. It'll come in handy this summer when I make a Coal Miner's Daughter (heard of that one? It's good.)
Summer is here!❤

Oh yeah! now for best results, use a rich 3:1 ratio syrup for that one. Cause you want a smaller fluid amount but you want the honey to come through.
If not, you need one😂
Do you have a studio audience?
My cousin started an apiary and I too have too much honey, now I have options!
You could always get wild and make some mead! Good news is, honey lasts forever :)
I make my palomas just the same but with agave syrup
The honey may work as well
It adds a layer of complexity, and it pairs well with the grapefruit and the tequila.
How long does the honey syrup last once you make it?
I usually will keep it for 4 weeks in the fridge. I've never had it last longer but always went through it behind the bar.
I still have too much honey syrup laying around....
