The Lab Miami is back in 2019, this time heading to the sublime rooftop of South Beach's Faena Bazaar as part of Winter Music Conference and Miami Music Week.
Brazilian star ANNA is a force to be reckoned with, dominating much of the genre of techno's attention across the past few years. Getting her bearings in her father's nightclub in São Paolo from as early as 14-years of age, she's since worked up to become a favorite of Adam Beyer's and received support from top leaders like Richie Hawtin, Sven Väth and more. She's continuously demonstrated her production savvy with releases on Kompakt, Drumcode, Turbo and most recently remixing for the likes of Jon Hopkins and has become a coveted name across milestone venues and festivals around the world. Be sure to catch ANNA at Ultra Music Festival on Saturday, March 30.

I came back to this video just to say I actually danced with the Green Shirt Guy at Movement Detroit! He's a great guy and full of energy.
My favourite part of any mix mag live set is the comments just complaining on how lame the crowd was.

To be fair, maybe have a 45mins set before to ease in. TBH, I liked it but rough to start up...
The crowd loved it. It was crowded and I don't think ppl were trying to go crazy and get kicked out. All the dancers that were there were also dancing on the sides to have space and not knock anybody's drinks over. People were really happy and excited to be there. We also had a dj before and after ANNA. It was a great time. I wanted to dance in front of ANNA, but the way I dance I would've definitely hit someone. So all I could do was fistpump

Being from Florida and having lived in Europe for 3 years seeing the difference in crowds at these shows is sad. Not one person put their phones down and just enjoyed the music. Shout out to Green guy for understanding the vibe. Good Tech set

Once again, everyone complaining about the crowd. It’s a cramped rooftop during early evening and no lighting, what do you expect? The volume is most likely not going to be insanely loud and most people aren’t going to be fried so early in the night, of course people won’t be going ballistic.

👀 I have been listening to a lot of dj sets lately fron Anna. Shes absolutely a natural. You cannot fake ur way into such an underground scene like techno. Shes a true talent, the real deal 👍🏻 wishing u all a happy new year 🙃

Everything is perfect, except ta camera far away from the booth, were there is an entrance is popping too much and people are a bit boring for that kind of music but I understand it was the beggining of a big weekend! Anna have more energy than everyone out there, she is amazing haha! Best set ive heard from her so far ! good job
It was literally a Wednesday. Lots of the dancer and high energy ppl were going to other day pool parties and other events at space. This crowd was an older crowd and ppl who just like to listen to the music, but don't know how to dance.

I would say a little unusual, it sounds like a festival set for 100 people crowd and its hard to think that someone would lose it on that environment. at the end that's what techno is all about, it's a mind trip.
