@@G3N3515DM It's impossible in this scoring system to be ahead/behind by anything but multiples of 175. There's no way to make a 25-point gap. The mistake wasn't from this episode, it (and others) came way earlier!
Wendy Bruce was a member of the 1992 Olympic women's gymnastics team, the first US women's team to medal in a fully-attended Olympics (they won the Silver during the 1984 games, which were boycotted by most of the Soviet Bloc countries). Incidentally, three members of that Barcelona team would go on to compete on the Magnificent Seven in Atlanta. Which ones were they? Oh, and if you guys get that far, production season three will have quite a few guests from the sports world.
Red kid throwing up the deuces for 2nd place was hilarious. Congrats on a great season for Joezack, Jimmy getting some salt after his season 2 trash talk
Would love to see how a season turns out where you guys get your contestants overall points. Winning all the events and coming last on the crag could still bring you enough total score at the end of the season to win
CONGRATS JOEZACK! Gotta say, Jake, I was totally invested in Misty the entire way (Uh, the horse jump?! WTF?). That being said, I fell out of my chair laughing as I watched Jimmy's player go down! (Sorry Jim) -- Best ep so far! Keep it up boys!
For the next season draft of draft picks they should each have 3-1sts 3-2nds and 3-3rds in the hat. Then draft by episode. If a person gets multiple of their picks selected then they get to choose which one they keep. Could help split up the runs of multiple first picks at the beginning of the season.
A superior scoring system would would be a cumulative point total for the entire season which should be implemented for season 4. With this method every single performance is critical due to the points on the line, which makes the overall show more exciting. I think Jimmy and Jake actually tied for the season…. There’s no way mathematically they could end up 25 points apart. Must’ve been a math screwup somewhere. Please go back to simple scoring!
Correct. It was actually 10-8-6 coming into this with the simplified scoring of 2-1-0 (which is the equivalent of what they're doing). Final score was 11-8-8
The first ep of a season, random 1st, 2nd, 3rd pick. At end of episode, their total points is what each of you get to wager pick position next ep. At the end of each episode add your pick’s total points to your draft pool, start of each ep, wager however much you want to land the pick you want, go all in or hold some back that is your call. If your pick wins an episode you get a single point, the other two spots get zero; or if you win with a first draft get 5 points, 2nd draft pick gets 3 points for a win, 3rd place draft pick win gets 1 point idk. You can now do trades focused on draft position of the competitors in that episode, plus points/wager money going into next episode, could be interesting.
Wager/bid picks, start at cost of 100 points, you keep going until the other two pass, leaving the last highest bid win. Jim 100, JoeZack 200, Jake 300, Jim pass, JoeZack 400, Jake pass JoeZack get first pick; Jake second; Jim third. Deduct all wager points from running total.
Top 5 watchin playin guts episode ever. Even with the championship decided. Think you guys should just try to trade player for player more next season.
I can’t believe how hard I laughed at Jimmy’s misfortune. His reaction to what he thinks has taken place is priceless. Also, can somebody not confirm that if Jimmy had come in first and Joe Zack had come in last in this episode, would they have not tied?
I think keep the nine epi/everyone get three 1/2/3 picks. But the scoring system should be total of the kid's score at the end. And maybe put the scores in excel.
Using the crag scoring just makes it more difficult to calculate. As long as 1st, 2nd, and 3rd are separated by the same number you might as well go 2 points for 1st, 1 for second and 0 for 3rd. You would get the same result but probably without the error in the current final score.
I think next season has to be total points earned by the selected competitors, no 1st, 2nd, and 3rd assigned points. No tiebreakers that way, and it is the most accurate representation of best overall choice of competitors
