@4:35 facts. I fell asleep on my couch with mine on for no longer than a few hrs, (it was brand new at the time) when I woke up, it was covered in swirls, I was a bit upset, but hey; they can't stay new forever, especially when you actually wear them.
Your friend’s watch is beautiful and I agree with you about them being underrated! Now that they are part of the Citizen group they get dismissed even more!
Dude fredrique is definitely one of the most underrated brand. No one tlks abt it. The black dial moonphase with golden bezel is my fav one of FC. Even this one is awesome. Lastly, saw ur video fr the first time. As a watch enthusiast I loved it. Keep doing guud. 👍
The Runabout chronograph version, with the boat, would that be a good present for my dad's 80th birthday? He loves boats and owned many through the years. He even owned/restored/saved the country's oldest wood motor boat. He has very large wrists though, but I'm thinking he could always have it as a showcase or collector's item if he thinks it looks too feminine on his wrist size-wize. My first thought was the 44mm Hamilton Khaki Navy Pioneer chronograph, but the box it comes in is very plain compared to this one. I would appreciate your opinions.
I own this watch and there's also 3 other Frederique Constant watches in my household plus a friend who owns one as well. Of the 5 watches I've been around 4 of the 5 have had issues. I don't know what's up with their quality control but it's not good. This one I own came with the second hand loose from the stem and stuck up against the glass. I had to open it up to push it back on the stem and got to notice how bad the finishing on the hands are. $200 Seiko watches have better finished hands. On our Classic Moonphase the rotor came loose and the watch wouldn't wind. The same thing happened to my friends lower end non in-house movement and I opened it and fixed it for him. Another woman's quarts watch had to be sent in for service cause there was something wrong with it too. I still like the brand and the look they offer but I won't be buying another one again.
So you have had problems with 4 out of 5 and yet you kept buying them? This sounds like it's made up. Who would continue to buy the same brand if 80% have issues?
@@richarddawson5836 We didn't weren't buying another right after one had a problem... That's stupid. Both the moonphase and woman's watch which weren't mine went in for repair shortly after they were purchased but I never knew until later. The classic manufacture I bought because it was on a good sale and the one a friend had bought was also significantly reduced but he had bought it before I bought mine except it had it's issue about a year after I bought mine. So 4 of 5 did have issues which weren't made up, so I don't know what to tell you.
Hi there，I have the exact same black dial fc watch, just like the name, is has a very classic look, the size is very good and comfortable on the wrist, and yes, I do pull the tricker on it based on its in-house claim, but a insanly good deal in my opinion, may be plan to get the perpentual caldender tourbillon in the future. By the way, I call it little fatty :)
Just bought my first entry FC classic manufacture with white dial, silver bezel, black leather, really excited about it, love the waffle dial and harry potter style hands 😅 truly underrated brand
Great video great watch great brand. I have the smartwatch version of them . You can see this watch by searching for my instagram under „watch made“. It carries the elegance of FC watches and you wouldn’t expect that it is a smartwatch.

I disagree. The brand was set out to offer the best in Swiss at an affordable price - they are well-respected because their isn't anything wrong with the quality on offer - especially when you factor the price, it is one of the most affordable exquisite watches with a true Swiss background. It wasn't a trademark brought up from the dead, or a play on a famous name. It basically the SWATCH version of luxury Swiss watches and the design and quality speaks for itself.

I love Federique Constant. I own 2 of their in-house movement watches ( zodiac limited edition and classic moon phase) Both runs +/-4 seconds per day.

@@WindItOnTheMove Yeah we sent in the Moonphase and the Quartz the other 2 I fixed myself because they were simple fixes.
