- In this video I have 4 of my friends look at my valorant clips and tell me what they would do. there is ARIN who is iron, Munsussy who is silver, SQ who is platinum, and Atomic who is immortal 3. This is kinda like coaching but funny.

this is funny to me since i'm radiant and in some of these situations, i actually think that the "right" play is often too obvious at a higher level and hence playing with a little bit of ambiguity can be smarter especially in clutch (1v2-3) situations.

so basically do a slightly suboptimal play or would you do the something opposite to what would be the right play?

@@m1rac1e Yeah something of that sort, I would say that for the first omen play, I might've teleported heaven first, then try to get a pick from heaven first and depending on the enemies positioning, maybe teleport to default from heaven and take the last two 1v1's down there, if blind is up i would never use blind on the first tap if there's 3 alive or even 2 alive. I would get the pick first while they don't KNOW you're in heaven. I do agree that the plant spot is pretty bad and may lead the enemies to realizing it's a heaven plant, the open plant would probably be better for a heaven post plant, smokes are also great to use in order to deceive your opponents too. For example, after your first pick from heaven, you can then throw a smoke down below heaven and either legit tp or fake tp into it and then it should be easier to isolate a 1v1 if the enemies aren't sure if you're heaven or in the smoke. The only problem I have with pushing CT is that most enemies at a higher level will group up before they retake, so you won't be able to kill 1 for free and get out most of the time. I think that the best time to get the pick is off the first tap or right before the first tap since there's no way all three enemies can guess where you're at at the start of the retake. I also wouldn't wait too long as once the enemies start clearing all the angles on site, they'll realize you have to be playing only the remaining angles that they haven't cleared.

I'm bronze and I can't think of these plays in the moment but this is my ideal play
1: smoke the entrance and tp up the boxes.smoke it in a way so that they can't see me until they get onto site, like after they clear that corner close.
2: ults going out so get knife out and run boathouse, see if she's there. After ult goes, if she was, molly the right side and go lane. If she wasn't, wall it off and peek. Molly main and dry peek every corner.

3a: ult backsite, try to get most of secret. get the spike and flee to b. Plant behind the support holding heaven and play link
3b: check flowers, grab spike and try to get chamber. Afterwards get to CT through the sewers and get fade
4: Be patient, call out that he's going ropes. wait until he goes through the doors then peek for anyone with him. Edit: so he didn't go ropes. At least I might've been able to get one. Maybe I get both of them and then omen when he turns around.
5a: smoke, dash away, hide in the corner at the boxes.
5b: ok so someone is cave, I'd smoke a bit further, then updraft if sage is still there

With immortals it's all about getting into positions from the use of ur abilities to isolate 1v1s and actually hits ur shots and win in these situations

If you ult with Phoenix you´re gonna be dead for sure... unless they remove the field of fire on the ground , so the enemies not see the exact ult spot or they let you cancel it

I exactly thought like that immortal player but in actions nothing goes as it planned . Like if I buy bucky there would be 2 or 3 enemy there that could easily kill me and if I camp the first one will check that place and kill me and about the ace , my teammates always steal the last kill

I really don't agree with the counter-ult as breach. It forces you into a really specific timing where you're running towards enemies with no audio and decay whilst they know where you are. You've got a1:15 to leg it (go connector as it gives them the least info about where you'll re-aggress), wait for the ult to fade (if you pardon the pun) and come back for the 1v2. Breach's ult is cosmetic, especially when you're also decayed.

Asc player here. What the immortal is saying is theoretically correct. But its hard to just do what he says in that situation. Like the pearl clip at 4:30, backing up is hard and counter ulting is also a risk but almost a must. I would personally wait in the corner and then ult. but again it’s hard, it’s all about if you have a plan, and you know you can pull it off
backing up to stun is a risk and gives up space that you can take when the chamber misses his shot, the breach in the clip plays it perfectly more or less

0:32 : Omen alone with ult / no spike against 3 enemies, unless it's like silver or under, no way there's not an enemy standing on spike to counter ult
That doesn't block the spike from being picked up, or rather it could block it, but the pickup radius is quite large so the only way you could possibly block it is if the spike was dropped in a corner, and you have 5 people standing in that corner
I have tested this in customs, it's also not possible to shoot an omen ult before they can cancel, if you do manage to kill the ult before the omen cancels it, Omen will not pickup the spike
