When you guys were turning it over one of the spark plug wires on driver side was arching on the header. Hopefully you see this
Once you're front and drop down in it and you seen it then it go above your hood you should have pinned the gas to create a wake in the front to keep the water from coming into the truck and flooding it out

you have to check the trans fluid when the truck is idling, in park, level.
