Awesome song ! It's nice that they have songs like that so the band isn't monotonous, but 80% of DEVILOOF is very brutal and they've stayed that way. I don't understand people who say they want to go mainstream when they've done songs with clean vocals before. Good reaction guys!
The song is amazing, I’ve been listening it on repeat since it came out. While I really like Damn as well this one is a bit more up to my alley and it is an easier listen overall. Damn kind of needs more attention when listening, not sure if that makes sense, might be a personal thing. Also I’m a sucker for Ray’s cleans 🙌🏻
You’re actually spot on with the influences of the band, they have some Spotify playlists with artists that each member likes and its hair metal, power metal, deathcore, slam, pop, rap etc etc.

Reckon you guys will totally enjoy the new E P as it's an absolute banger. Damn will be my fave single of the year for sure and this single was great too. The other tracks on the E P are fantastic, Afterlife is another fave of mine fast brutal and how I like it. It's a travesty only 5 tracks and not a full length but this band are becoming my new fave band at this time 🤘🤘 enjoy guys
The EP is really good little disappointed that it has a track that's 3 minutes without lyrics I mean I still like it but if it was removed from the EP I wouldn't care I've just never really liked ep's and albums have tracks like that just feels like it's filler which in some cases that's probably exactly what lyric less tracks are since I have heard of record labels telling bands they have to fill an EP or album with certain number of tracks but anyway all the songs with lyrics are awesome
i don't think it's a filler tho, the bass and guitar in that song are absolutely insane. deviloof have always had a instrumental song in their albums and I think they're all bangers like "devils proof" and the one from oni
They set the bar so high with damn that the rest of the ep kinda feels bland and boring. After a few listens, false self is growing on me a bit, but nowhere near as good as damn. Btw, jiluka - overkill is also worth a listen. About as insane as damn, but I still prefer damn.
i don't know what it is with Japan korea and the like with movies these days being just amazing and that seems to be bleeding in to the music as well creative and just good!

They're likely influenced by Dir En Grey. One of the greatest bands of all time in metal.
