You turned me on to the Adwoa Beauty Blue Tansy Clarifying shampoo. It’s so moisturizing to my hair! I love it so much, I can’t even consider it clarifying anymore. Thanks! I also did a side by side comparison of ingredients between the Curls So So Pineapple shampoo and the Curls Blueberry Bliss shampoo. Exact same ingredients, in the exact same order. Only difference is one uses pineapple extract and the other uses blueberry extract. So if you like one, the other should work just as well in the hair.
@@NaturalRaeRae 👍🏾 I have the Curls Blueberry Bliss shampoo (another one you turned me on to) and love it. It has protein in it and I’m surprised at how well my hair responds to it. But for others who don’t want protein, that’s something to consider. Somehow the protein works well for my hair!
Oh and Giovanni makes a really good clarifying shampoo that you can get from Sprouts. They are a clean brand and pretty responsible and they have moisturizing shampoo and conditioner as well that is really good that I don’t hear a lot of people talk about.
Giovanni is an OG in the natural hair community. I used their shampoo and conditioner when I first big chopped and I liked them. I just got away from them once I started my RUclips channel and started trying new things. Thanks for bringing them back to everyone's attention.💛
Great shampoo list! I agree and have tried them all except the Curls Pineapple line. I will have to give that one a try. I have been double shampooing because my wash and gos seem to come out better when I do. I have been using DE Almond and Avocado first followed by the honey creme. I have absolutely no stripped feeling, can detangle with both and my hair is very clean. I am going to pick up that Pineapple shampoo by Curls for sure. Thanks for sharing your favorites!
Thank you. Yeah, the cleaner your hair is the better your style will be. I like both of the DE shampoos and I will be using them this coming year, for sure. Thanks for tuning in and sharing your experience with the shampoos.
You have been making me want to pick up that Design Essential shampoo for some time now. Not like I need anymore shampoos lol, but you are tempting me!
I agree with these 100% Rae the only one I haven’t yet tried is the DE and the Curls .. btw yes I agree with the other comment about your sweater.. orange is your color & hair always look nice 😉🥰💙
Hi Rae! You are right on the money. A few others I like are NLS clarifying shampoo along with Patterns Cleansing Shampoo and Trader Joe’s have a Lemongrass Moisturizing Shampoo for about $5 that I like as well.
Yep, I love the NLS clarifying shampoo and the Pattern cleansing shampoo. I just couldn't name them all because the video would have been too long. Thanks for sharing your faves.
Thanks for sharing this video as Im currently using Innersense line because it was highly raved as concentrated and well preformed in most people's hair, well I haven't had any issues but the price point is steep So im looking into alternatives where I can still get great results without breaking the bank.. Question do you find the rinse out conditioner is necessary to use on days when a deep conditioner is used?
For me, a rinse out conditioner is necessary because I use it to help me detangle. I prefer not to detangle with my DC's because they are usually more expensive and I don't want to waste it by detangling with it. Now, there are times that I don't have a rinse out handy and my DC has enough slip so I will just use my DC, but that is not often. I do what is best for me and using both has not harmed my hair so I continue to use both. I know some people think that is over conditioning, but that is their opinion and I disagree. My hair is thriving doing it the way that I do, so I'm going to keep on. I would say to you, if you feel you need a rinse out, then use one. If you don't feel you need a rinse out and you are fine going straight from shampooing to deep conditioning, then keep doing that. Do what is best for you and your hair. I hope that helps. Thanks for tuning in and engaging with me.💛
Hi Rae my daughter gave me her left over DE Almond and Avocado shampoo a couple years ago and I remember I liked the smell and lather but that was at the beginning of my hair journey and I did not know much about washing my own hair and therefore did not know what I was looking for in a shampoo but I will be revisiting it once I use up all my shampoo’s. I love my NLS shampoo and want to try the Adwoa Blue Tansy to have a clarifying shampoo on hand. It takes me a long time to go through one bottle of shampoo even though I wash my hair every week and I currently still have 3-4 shampoos. Thanks for your recommendations.
It does take a while to go through shampoos, that's why I have so many. A new one will come out that I want to try and then I never get back to using up the previous one. Trying to get through some of them now, but it's hard. Thanks for tuning in.
The orange 🍊 top makes your skin pop 👌🏾.

I love both of those shampoos and I have both on hand. I've never compared ingredients, but thanks for sharing that.
