I have a 2011 6.7 with 418k miles on it , ( delited) after 36k when warranty run out ... zero issues , I did changed fan clutch at 250k and just recently oil cooler , besides that solid truck.
CP4! I am in the market for my first F-350 powerstroke and looking to get into a 17-22. I'm trying to do my due diligence and research as much as I can before i pull the trigger. Thank you for the content! I have watched a few of your videos trying to better educate myself!! Keep that hammer down!!!
I just ordered a kit for my 2011 F550 4x4. This is my first Powerstroke and im really appreciating the i fo in your videos. Could you consider doing a newbie maintenance video showing what additives, oils, filters, etc that you recommend for the Powerstroke?? I dont plan on wasting my hard earn cash paying overpriced dealership costs. Thanks for the great vids, Cheers!
When I did this mod I saw a lot more buildup of gunk in the intake from the EGR than the CCV. The CCV passageway where the hose connects was fairly clean. I scraped out about a half cup of gunk from the upper and lower intakes at 115000 miles.
Your fuel is filtered twice before it hits that S&S filter isn’t it? Once off the tank where it’s the water separator filter and again at the under hood filter?
I don’t want to start a battle but I recently and I mean recently as in 1 week ago purchased a 22 F350 6.7 and the first tank 48 gallons I added “brand new bottle” hot shot secret EDT (4oz) My concern with the cp4 is yes if anything did go wrong it would be sent to the dealer, I’m not saying they couldn’t drop the tank and test fuel and blame it on additives, but in reality that’s not likely, but my real concern would be if I installed a disaster kit that could easily be found by a tech and labeled the cause and end up causing a back-and-forth battle with Ford on who should foot the bill. I guess what I’m trying to say is of course make your own decision but given that my extended warranty seven year 100,000 miles I would rather play it safe and just use the additives versus any identifiable part that has been installed
Each to their own but in my opinion I’d rather pay 1200 out if pocket and be on the road in a day or so than have a random tech putting his paws on my whole truck for weeks possibly waiting on parts, plus warranty will still be intact just not on a component directly affected by a modification that they have to prove, filtering return fuel doesn’t affect anything I can foresee
@@HammerdownMotorsportsUSA completely agree, at the end of the day it’s our vehicles and we got to do what we can to take care of them. I guess I’m more disappointed that there’s an actual concern for issues, and yet the manufacturer has refused to change out the pump
Lmao the list of Amazon links and social media links.. Surprisingly long. Yes this video and this kit makes perfect sense. Just catch the garbage before it can further contaminate more of the system. Waiting for another Ford Diesel truck to be proven a solid investment for the long haul before I move to a newer year.
@@HammerdownMotorsportsUSA ok because I was going to put the intake on mine. I did install a and b cold charge and got the banks monster exhaust on way. The three mods I have I know want void the warranty for sure. One question on my 2023 powerstroke will the banks intake not work on mine it looks same as my 2022 f 450?? I know our 2019s battery was in front but ford went back to battery in the back.

WOW!!! WHAT A NIGHTMARE ENGINE TO WORK ON.
The EcoBoom is worse, especially in FWD layout... the 6.7 is a joy
Love the busted knuckle action. Keep that hammerdown

How would this affect the egr? Thats really strange
Great videos, I did the same setup as well and delete EGR and CCV all in one.
Awesome. I got a S&S on my '22 as well.

There is an installation guide that comes with the kit. If you can't read then watch this.

Amazing job! and great skill! :)
Why would the manufacture not do this at the factory. ❓❓❓
Because they don’t have to
What or where can i get another ccv hose since mine got burned its a lil hole can I still run the truck
You have problems with their fuel lines rupturing?

Want this hood warranty
How long does this take to install without dealing with videoing?
I could do one in probably 4-5 hours if I had to do it over
LInks to those other videos and short?
Will this void warranty
In order for warranty to be denied the failure has to be directly related to an aftermarket part or installation
