I needed to do some envelopes for order packing plus my supplies for Gelli printed papers have dwindled a lot so sit back and enjoy 😁 www.etsy.com/u...
Hi SuzieQ. That's a great tip about the tracing paper. I've got the same bargain-basement pack of Hobbycraft paper, & so tried printing with it yesterday. It really does take the colour beautifully, nicer than copier paper. I'm going to be on the look-out in charity shops for embossing plates now, having seen the effects you get with them. I'm also hankering after a larger sized gel plate, but I doubt that'll turn up on the bric-a-brac shelves! You and I have the same taste in Pebeo paints. Love transparents & dyna colours. I always wait for Hobbycraft to knock the price down from £4 to £2 a tube, then stock up. Can't resist a bargain. Val
yes Val, when Hobbycraft reduce the Pebeo's to £2.00 that's when I go shopping too! and anything with glimmer or transparency I'm in! I was surprised by that tracing paper, I haven't collaged with it yet but I think its going to be great. Thank you for commenting
Hi Suzie, what an awesome time you must of had, playing with papers and paint 😅 Tell me have you ever tried printing on coloured papers or cardboard. I have tired it and got some interesting results. Also l have used small rubber bands to make my circles with, that's also works well. 😊 Really enjoyed watching you. 😊
I have tried coloured papers but I do like the contrast white paper gives, i must get some rubber bands, I've seen others print with them so will have a try myself sometime
Thanks Mary, yeh I thought it would be fun to colour and cut out some of the embossed elements, I'm thinking they will be great for texture on a project.
I don't do a lot of paint and stamping these days. That said, I LOVE your enthusiasm and fearlessness in your crafting. You always end up with some very pleasing end results.
My work always spreads out all over the surfaces no matter how big. What a cool load of gel prints today, the embossed cards worked so well on the plate. Well done.
Yay, gelli plate time!!! I love all the beautiful colors you got and the designs! I've never thought to use my embossed papers, I've got about 20 or so folders to choose from. This was loads of fun, and I'll be looking forward to seeing you use some of them! TFS 😊
🤣Watching and thinking like you, a wee bit too much paint and you pull that first envelope off and it was 'ooh that is NICE!!!' - you got me talking to the screen tee hee. That is the beauty of gelli plate printing - you just never know what beauties your gonna get. Right gonna watch the rest of your video now. Thanks for sharing, really enjoying it 😃
Thank you, yes too much paint at first but those Jackson's paints were amazing, loved the first and subsequent prints, it dried on the plate quite quickly but it was a rather warm day!
@@suzieqmakes The Jackson's paints looked a handy 'sauce bottle' design too! 😃 I tend to get a bit messy gelli plate printing and as you say things dry qucik so easy dispensers so much better than struggling to get the top of a tube and squeezing it out.
What a cracking session! Thank you so much Sue..I liked the asmr floor... 🌻💕
Glad you enjoyed it Chris ! That blooming squeeky floor board! It even drove me bonkers so I'm glad I moved 😂
