PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE re-do this video to include the fact that VISCA OVER IP is OFF by default on the camera. You have to set dip switch 3 to ON on the back of the camera. This is a HUGE OMISSION!!! The dip switch setting is not mentioned in either the documentation for the RM-IP500 itself NOR the FR7 documentation for using the controller. It is buried in the section specific to the dip switches themselves in the FR7 manual. Why would anyone assume a dip switch change is required to use the controller? I spent more than 5 hours trying to solve this problem.
This RM-IP500 work with SRG-X40UH? I'm tired of trying to configurate them; camera register with mac address synced, however zoom and pan tilt does not work.
One great setup for a dedicated robo op is to have NDI studio monitors open for each camera's feed. Have the camera native info display on with waveform/af point etc. along with tally info on studio monitor settings and you have superb ergonomics for the op!
Hi, I just got FR7 but I'm struggling it connect to IP500. It's says camera connected but I can't control it. When I checked camera table I can see FR7 ip is there. Do I need to update IP500 firmware?
Here's my biggest problem with this - why is there not ramping settings for camera moves, would make this so much more useful from every start and finish of each move - instead of non-pro start and stops. Would be so easy to implement with the right firmware updgrade and enable so much more versatility with these cameras. Also a multiview you can add to a second ipad would be ideal, so you can view multiple cameras at a glance. cmon guys, not that hard

Make sure the 3rd Jumper Switch from the Left on the FR7 is in the up position
Also make sure you are on Version 2.2 firmware
