    Watching you, at 11:42 wield those tools is like watching any master at their craft. It's fluid, and you look like any Picasso or Monet with a brush or chisel in hand. It's poetic, watching the flow of how easily you handle the wire and tools. An excellent piece in the end is what PROVES your talent, of course. But just watching your hands go so well around these strange little pointy objects is truly pretty to watch. 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
    Of course, I consider you the BEST on yt. CSL Designs is a HOT 2ND.

    Thank you so much for taking the time to share your works of art and how to recreate them. You're very talented. Can these pieces be recreated using craft store wire? I am curious if the medium temper wire makes it easier or more difficult to follow along. I have heard that medium temper is easier on the fingers but more possibly more difficult to bend the wire.

    • @OxanaCrafts
      @OxanaCrafts  2 года назад

      Yes round wire from the craft store will work. I've used craft wires like Artistic Wire and Zebra wire, they are typically dead soft temper so easy to bend

    I've never found 26 or 28g wire. I usually use 24 gauge to wire wrap and weave. Would that work for this piece?

    • @OxanaCrafts

    how do you keep the base wires from bending as you weave? I tried to do this last night just to practice and the whole thing just bent as I was trying to do the repetitions. complete disaster. I was using 16 gage as the base wires and 26 for the weave. do you have any suggestions? I'd love to be able to make wire designs. Thank you!

    • @OxanaCrafts
      @OxanaCrafts  7 лет назад

      maybe try weaving a bit more gently, maybe you are pulling too hard and that is what is bending your base wires?

    • @ptownpntbllr
      @ptownpntbllr 7 лет назад +1

      what kind of wire are you using? try getting some 28 g silver filled copper "dead soft" wire to practice, its a little bit more expensive but you can find it at hobby lobby for like 15 bucks and use the 40 off coupon its like 9 bucks. it'll really make a difference tho. good luck!

      you never know who is watching the video, maybe it is someone that has never done this before. If I changed things up I am sure I'd get the opposite complaint where people ask me to explain things better and in more basic terms :) But I don't really make videos anymore anyways. Perhaps in the future if I ever have time to make videos again, what I can do is make ones called "advanced" where I skip over basics.
