I love this video, it makes me feel less alone in this world. When you gain spiritual knowledge in a spiritually bankrupt world it can make you feel really isolated. At the same time it’s open so many doors in my life. Any ways thank you for your enlightenment and knowledge, god bless you and keep you. Love from Ohio💛

Longish, I have genuine questions. If you reply, please tell me what the orthodox church actually is, beyond saying "the true original church" because I no longer know what the words "orthodox church" refer to.
    1. If there's no salvation outside the church, what is the definition of "the church" that we must be within? I mean specifically, stripped back to the essentials, what do you think is the bare minimum requirements for salvation?
I would say faith in Christ alone is sufficient, BUT that doesn't mean that theology is irrelevant, that preservation of the truth is worthless, that sacraments have no value, that asceticism is pointless, that the blood of martyrs was wasted. All these things are very precious. However, God is sovereign and knows all, so I am certain that He saves all who love Him and have faith in Him, even if they only know Him as The Truth.
Is your soul safer in communion with an orthodox church? Probably. Can most people access such? No.
God MUST have a most Perfect Loving and Just resolution to this, which is why Faith Alone in Christ must be sufficient for salvation.
Even studying as hard as possible, I am still unable to choose any affiliation with a church in pure conscience, because all have hypocrisy, and all have logical reasons that justify their theology.
I just pray God knows that my motivation is to align myself with Perfect Truth only, and I am avoiding what appears to be heresies of different kinds.
I honestly believe that Jesus Christ is The Truth, and that wholly giving yourself to The Truth, and conforming your whole being to The Truth, is the only sure way to God, because God is Truth, and thus I cannot be wrong with this intention. I may hold incorrect beliefs, but I ascent to the Truth, and that is the best I can do.

You must leave out the hypocrisy of its members as a strike against either Catholicism or Orthodoxy because both are made up of fallen human beings. If we were perfect, we wouldn’t need Christ. And why would logic be an obstacle? Isn’t God rational?
That aside, your search of perfection with a subjective mind won’t get you anywhere. You must realize that.
Those of us who believe that Christ truly came to establish a church on earth, know what our two choices there.
Your waffling is preventing you from entering communion with either, without which you can’t truly make progress towards holiness.

Energies are the participated acts of creatures, are the limitation of the one act/energy of God which is identical to his essence, his act/energy is to be God, that one act is made participated through limitations of that one act, giving "birth" to participated acts/energies. We must stop thinking of energies as a distinction ad intra in God, but the ad extra activity with his creation. Ad intra God's activity is only one, and only in relation to creation is that we have the notion of participation of created essences... A created essence is a limitation of the one energy/pure act of God and the act that allows that creature to "be" is via a limited participation in that one act, the one act/energy in which the creature is participating is one and the same (God), but due to the limited essence of the creature it can only participate in a limited manner in that one activity, that's why we have many activities/energies in created beings, but we don't have many activities in God. Palamite Fathers don't believe in a real distinction in God of essence energy, the real distinction only exists in the creature, God is one and supremely perfect (simple).

Being like God in the way He wants us to be like Him is different than how Satan wants us to be like God, e.g. one involves us joining the divine council communally, the other is about kicking God off the throne of our lives so we can get on it ourselves.

The serpent was subtle. He technically did not lie, but caused them to disobey God and doubt the truth. We shall become like God by obtaining more complete knowledge, but the part the serpent left out is most of the other authority and dominion that also most importantly made humans like God would be lost through foolishness. Thus, Adam and Eve were much more like God before the fall than after, but will become like God more fully in the fullness of time, just like they would have if they had not disobeyed to begin with, albeit with a lot more suffering. Ultimately, the devil just wanted to feel like he was greater than God, so he settled with making God's children his puppets since he could not overcome the Father Himself.

Adam and Eve they both sinned, first with their action and then with their word, weak but not bad.
(Let's not forget that Adam chose to trust Eve in that delicate moment)
By opening a small door you can see those quotes from the Church Fathers either as a hammer of justice against wicked women or as a hard and difficult test of faith for pious women.
The woman is the second gift after the Garden, and it was man himself who crowned her (imagine a veil, a female symbol of dignity, royalty and then of sanctity).
With joy for God Adam tells Eve that through her man will be reborn and become immortal (Saint Joseph, Virgin Mary and Jesus Christ).
When they were kicked out they immediately embraced each other again, securing and comforting each other, and the Archangel Michael prophesied their salvation (the biblical rapture from Limbo).
Saint Adam and Saint Eve, parents of humanity together with Saint Joseph (the Chaste Heart) and Saint Mary (the Immaculate Heart), parents of Jesus Christ (the Sacred Heart and God Incarnate).
Joseph the Counselor of Heaven and Mary the Queen of Heaven.
It has always been this way for the sacred service of women in the Holy Church: the consecrated virgins and the nuns.
The ultimate divine reward is to receive Mary's veil and become her handmaid.

Luke 3 says Adam was the Son of God, and Adam was the father of all humans. Humans were made in God's image for a reason; humans were always made to become like God in every way, and becoming like Christ is exactly what we were always meant to be, and eternally are: part of the Elohim. Elohim is actually a plural word, meaning it refers to both Jesus and the Father. If it refers to Jesus, and we gain all the rights of the Son of God, we must likewise be part of the Elohim in the eternal sense.

      @Lazers749 Yes we are!
      John 10:30-42
30 I and the Father are one.”
31 Again his Jewish opponents picked up stones to stone him, 32 but Jesus said to them, “I have shown you many good works from the Father. For which of these do you stone me?”
33 “We are not stoning you for any good work,” they replied, “but for blasphemy, because you, a mere man, claim to be God.”
34 Jesus answered them, “Is it not written in your Law, ‘I have said you are “gods”’? 35 If he called them ‘gods,’ to whom the word of God came-and Scripture cannot be set aside- 36 what about the one whom the Father set apart as his very own and sent into the world? Why then do you accuse me of blasphemy because I said, ‘I am God’s Son’? 37 Do not believe me unless I do the works of my Father. 38 But if I do them, even though you do not believe me, believe the works, that you may know and understand that the Father is in me, and I in the Father.” 39 Again they tried to seize him, but he escaped their grasp.
40 Then Jesus went back across the Jordan to the place where John had been baptizing in the early days. There he stayed, 41 and many people came to him. They said, “Though John never performed a sign, all that John said about this man was true.” 42 And in that place many believed in Jesus.
