Even if Germany allows, please don't bring parents here, first of all you have to have health insurance for them separately. Healthcare is very different from India, you don't get quick assistance for anything as in India. Everything is quite difficult here.

@@srivastav3684 medical in indie is much better. You can do all tests in 2 days and get proper consultation. The only challenge is getting a good and honest doctor who will not rip you off. Here in Deutscheland it takes months and months for such tests and one needs to be patient. If urgent, only hospital emergency is the option but thats only for real life and death situations. A fever, cold, stomach pain can't be emergency as per them. For us Indians, Cold is also emergency.

Germany may be good for Turkish, Afghani , Iranish people ...People are coming from India just for the sake of money and quick job , I doN,t see people are really happy here.

It is a pipe dream. Germany requires that you have health insurance for your parents. Public insurance like AOK or TKK will not take anyone beyond their 50s, and the only other way is to have expensive private insurance. The older your parents the greater the cost of health insurance and health insurance is mandatory. This is just like many German contracts---for example if you do not cancel a gym membership in writing SIX weeks before it expires they ll deduct the amount for another year from your bank account--you are supposed to read the fine print first! It s the same with this new policy change that s designed to attract high skilled labor to Germany but discourage those who cannot contribute, like your old parents. Don t make this a factor in choosing to study/work in Germany.

It's a good law in overall sense, but at ground level, on a personal level due to language barrier and not so social german society, parents will have a really hard time living here for long term, more than 3-6 months. I myself face depression phases due to loneliness, they will also have to face them due to boredom. I am talking about long term, because in initial days everyone is enthusiastic. Also the Indian diaspora in Germany still undeveloped than USA &UK, only time will tell how Indian people migrate to Germany

    • @BharatinGermany

  • @iamqwq

Yes US, UK etc are much better in this regard. Plus there are plenty of Indian origin doctors in all english speaking countries which makes communication easy. Here even students and job seekers are struggling to cope with the hard German language which takes years to learn and get fluent in it.. Can't expect parents to be able to learn it at old age

In case of Canada, people get direct PR from home country which is even more cheaper than studying in germany. US, Australia could be little costly but we can always take loan to cover fees, paisa kharch karna hi hai to sahi jagah kharcho aur sahi jagah jao and no need to learn a new language like german from absolute beginning. Yesterday I went to the government office They said this law will apply for those who get a blue card after the 1st of march. They are testing this to see what is happening maybe they change this some day.
For getting a blue card they also ask arbeitsagebtur to see if the academic background is related or the salary is above average in that area
This section of law about bring your family near to you really sucks and it will cause you to change the country after a while because of this law. canada is way better in this section. It seems they only need our fresh young age to work for them like modern slaves not people's happiness.

If you want to come here to earn more money and you are earning 40 LPA and more then please don't come to Europe. You will save the same amount in India with lots of local help and family & friends. Parents won't be able to stay in Germany unlike Australia, UK and USA due to boredome and language barrier.

This was total unnecessary one of the reason people move is get some freedom
Rather they should make less to reduce German proficiency for international students
