    Don’t wobble your punches out, it will eventually damage the punches and even distress your stitch holes. Use a wooden block and pull out vertically

    i have a idea, if you make a line with the win-divider, and warm up some bees wax and plunge this tool in it before making holes, to prevent the moisture to enter from them and the needles will be free when stitching .

      I used to work for one of the biggest luxury leathercraft brand in France and we simply used to wax the thread and hammer the stitching to close the holes and thus preventing the gaps between the leather and the thread to allow excess water in it.
