Fugue-addict here ;) And what a beautiful fugue this is, completely unknown to me. So it was a pleasure listening to it for the first time, especially played at this high level. Thanks, Markus!
What a fabulous performance of this amazing fugue by Maurice Duruflé. I love the Caen sample set of the Cavaille-Coll organ, and as Jerry remarks, you have complete mastery, Marcus, of the instrument's glorious tonal resources. Your videography is also superb. This upload is just a total joy from the first to the last second: bravo!
BRAVO!!!! Oh my goodness this is a fantastic performance. Thank you. It has been quite a while since I have listened to a recording/performance of this and I just sat back and basked in this. A magnificent piece of playing, but you have complete mastery of the registration and accoustic of Caen. Couple that with your superb video editing and this is a top-notch performance. Wonderful!!! 🥰
Jerry, you are too kind! It’s a fantastic piece, I love the way it builds and builds towards those apocalyptic chords at the end - it’s hard not to be inspired by Duruflé’s writing.

Thanks so much, Ralph. It’s a pretty loose fugue but great fun to play.

A very traditionally composed fugue in an older style; never heard it before. Tres bien!
Thank you very much, Adrian!
Wonderful❤️❤️❤️
what is your console's brand
I believe it was originally a Bradford Computing Organ built in Holland. I bought it second hand with the intention of using it with Hauptwerk.
