Sa totoo lang, napaluha ako sa kwento mo Maam Sweet Pearl. Nurse din ako sa Pinas pero wala ako experience sa hospital at ngayon andito ako sa Alberta as Tourist. Sinuwerte ako at nakahanap ako ng work at soon will apply for a work permit.
But my long term goal is makapag practice dito as a Nurse. Sana matupad yon at madala ko dito the soonest ang mag-iina ko 🙏❤️
Salamat Spot Pinoy sa mga makabuluhang mga vlogs niyo. Mabuhay kayo ❤️🇵🇭

Advice ko lang, your work permit can easily be translated to PR because of your profession. Pero if you plan to move to another province, mag citizen ka muna kung saan ka nag PR para less complications sa application mo. Just my 2 cents.

I'd stay in a small town if I can. If you're in a small town, where people are nice, with a stable job provided by the government, and have enough to spend for your daily expenses because of the low cost of living, why look to move into a large overcrowded city where people are apathetic, the job market is tough, cost of living is high, and public schools are crap.

Congratulations! Pinoy nurses are the best in the world. They are recession proof, inflation proof and most of them have good living and careers. Mark, good job in posting the Saskatchewan opening for nurses. Come to think of it, the impact you've have made to the nurses and families are priceless. Friendly advise, put more patience in your mind because nurse jobs are toxic (just think about doing it for your family).... I have plenty of nurse friends here and already changed career or retired at an early age because of abusive patients (especially those with mental issues), 1 nurse to 24 patients floor nurse.... So many works that quality is sacrificed and license can be suspended/revoked.... Good luck and pray always..

I have no problem with Canada recruiting directly from the Philippines, but the issue came up during pandemic were there are many Filipino nurses already in Canada but still needs certification/licensing (I think some needs to go back to school). The question was why not help those already here. Again, nothing against those who were directly recruited. This is a government not being efficient.

Nag dubai ako.. ung naghahanap ako ng work, nakakita ako ng recruitment agency abu dhabi based. So pinuntahan namin office nila. Sobrang galing manghikayat at pinagbayad ako 300aed.. Sabi no refund kasi sureball ang work mag antay daw ako ng call, bnigyan pako cd on how to ace interview.. and ending scam pla. Nagulat kami ni mister! First time kong masaktan ng sobra at nagulat tlga ako kasi nsa UAE nako at may office nga.

Pero pg nasa private hosptal k meron dn nmang mga discounts pg senior citizen philhealth or insurance kng merob ka tas kng may reamining p tlga puede mong ihingi ng tulong s ibat ibang govt offices like OVP, PCSO, DSWD, Mayor's office..pero dpnde po s budget ng mga offices so most likely pg sa private k naadmit maliit ang chansang zero ung bill mo pero my chansang mkahingi ng mga ayuda from the abovementioned govt offices.

About 8 years ago or so all you need in Ph is to pass or 50% average in lower than gr 10 level - that's in UP Diliman & De La Salle. Mr Cariño is a nice guy but clueless.
