And then how often do you change the polish? Do you paint them yourself or get them done at the salon? Haha sorry for all the questions, love your videos!

drinkallthesunshine Possibly. When removing nail polish, do you use harsh removers with acetone? That could be a part too. Using fake nails like acrylic nails can be bad when applied incorrectly.
i havent painted my nails for probably over 6 months, and i havent had fake nails for years... i think im just rough them... like ill be lifting something and when i put it down, ill noticed that i must have snagged my nail in the process and like there will be a small tear of the white part of the nail, so i just rip the rest of it off... i never have ever bitten my nails tho. i dont even get how that works, like ive tried it before, and my nail never got broken or chipped from me biting it... like if anything, it will only happen if i pick at it and kind of cut it off using my thumb nail from my other hand. i dont know if any of this is making any sense hahaha i cant fucking describe what im trying to convey.. haha speaking of nails, about 2 months ago, i accidentally slammed my car door on my nail. i had to unlock the door and then open it just to get my nail out. it was a fucking mess, and a month later the entire nail fell off... still in the growing out phase haha its almost fully grown in, however its not curved like my other nails its like completely flat. ive read online that over time, it goes back to normal, you just need to wait for it to keep growing. hahaha describing nails is really difficult. it would be better just showing a picture or diagram. i guess ill just try being more dainty with my hands, but i cant really think of anything that i do thats super strenuous on a regular basis. one other thing that i think might contribute to the problem are hangnails... i get those alot.

People ask about her wiping etc I used to have super long nails for about nearly half a year. And at the beginning it takes a while to get used to but you adapt to it and when I had my nails cut super short it took me a while to adapt to that then. It's not hard. But it takes some time!

I sometimes dip my nails in jojoba oil to make them a bit stronger, especially after washing my hands, so they aren't as brittle.
