I remember the original 770 had some pretty kick ass bass, I first heard them being driven by a Mark Levinson Amp playing a song by the Police called " Shadows in the Rain". Wow. Late 70's I believe. Very impressive for the size of the woofer and dynamics were off the chart. At that time they were very reasonable in costs, I am sure the new series is fantastic. Gotta love the look too.
