In this video I focus on making an animation for Sydney Water - this is also the first time I hired an animator to work with me on commercial illustration work! the 65k emails literally made my jaw DROP I can't even fathom
Hahaha I knew someone was gonna say something when I was editing it's my spam email mixed with my online store notifications - I am v on top of my other emails I swear!!! Is there a way to just mark all as read??
@@furrylittlepeach Create rules so that all your store notification emails are automatically moved into their own folder in your inbox. So whenever you get new emails in there, just right click the folder and mark all as read. I'm pretty sure you can also set the rule to automatically mark them as read. Hope that helps!

Tonka is growing sooo fast! Such a cutie. Ok what are the nighttime zoomies?! Highly recommend the podcast episode, very informative and a lil silly.
omg 11:50 is such a mood, I super heavily associate music w/ specific periods of time or specific situations which is both a blessing and a curse. so I make seasonal playlists too and can hear a song and go "oh this song reminds me of dancing around the darkroom by myself making cyanotypes when I was 17!" or "this reminds me of thinking I was getting all loved up before I got dumped when I was 20!" hehe

I think I could just watch an endless loop of Shan'an cleaning while little Tonka just follows her around watching her clean. HE IS TOO CUTE. 😍
I've been following you from tumblr days! My impressions of your work were the foxes and bears! I also love the frequent photos of yourself on it even though it wasn't your work( I love Rocket's photos of you, I am also a fan of his photos), I think it's cute and intimate and I would be like wow everything about this girl is so aesthetic!

I also do the playlist thing! Sometimes when I need a boost I go back to a playlist that I know had good vibing times, cheers me up. And here's to Southern Hemisphere peeps!
yassss, for me my emo playlist (music from mid to late 2000s) is a surefire way to feel pepped up.

I was raised by my cat as a child!!! She taught me sooo much. I adore kitties and have 3 now. I get separation anxiety when I have to leave them for even 2 hours. I feel the same about nostalgia music but you take it to another level! I saw a Bon Iver interview where he talks about dropping an album on a specific season for that reason. I will def start doing season playlists as well! - also inspiring and energizing as always!!
The Black Parade album reminds me of A Series of Unfortunate Events because I was listening to it around the same time as reading the books hehe

Earliest things I remember from you was a jar??? with a whale and galaxy inside maybe?? And then of course the light up deer heads! I tried out some sculpture/light work in high school because of that!

Wow, it was super interesting to see the BTS of working with clients! That's part of the reason that I don't do commissions 🤣 but obviously my field is pretty different. I can definitely relate to being grateful to live in a digital age where we can build our own communities outside of the galleries, etc. Absolutely love your Q&As at the end, it's so insightful🤗 💕 Looking forward to the book packing vid!

I remember seeing the constellation whales, I’m not sure if you had prints of them, but you had them as a bed cover and I reaally wanted it but it had already been sold out! Heck i remember you so well from the tumblr days!!! Your happy little paintings rocked my world! I can’t remember specifically what I saw first but I do remember a while in, being so excited for you when you did that whale bedspread and wanting it more than anything in the world.... unfortunately I was just starting out freelance as a scenic artist in Melbourne at the time so couldn’t spare those all important dollarydoos

the first work I saw from you was the galaxy in a jar painting! I was obssesed with it! I painted my own version (just for fun not for any use or to post don't worry) and I had it as my phone background for months! that illustration is so nostalgic for me. however I had no idea it was yours until like a few years ago and that made it even more special!

Awww yahhh FLP vlog. Okay so THANK YOU for sharing that book on the Seoul Olympics. I love Hodori (the tiger mascot from the 88 Seoul Olympics). Soon as I saw that book I did some cyber sleuthing and just ordered a copy. I think it was self-published from a few years ago so it took some tracking down, but luckily I found an indie bookstore that still had it in stock! Can't wait to check it out! So thank you.
