In answer to those who seem to think Os Guinness, didn't answer the question "What is Truth?", he did. Allow me to rephrase it; real Truth can be found in Joy, not fleeting happiness and gluttonous pleasures; Truth is something that resonates within your soul and brings you deep joy. We have an innate sense of Truth and when we hear a truth we can recognize it, the same way we can recognize that we may be in impending danger and prompted to act on it.
Science and mathematics cannot explain how the mind or thoughts function, nor what moves us to choose to respond the way we do. Science and mathematics can measure theories, and help establish facts but they have no measuring stick for morality or Truth.
If you want to recognize Truth it is knowledge and understanding that bursts into your mind and floods you with joy, it is not fleeting, when you look back and remember that knowledge and joy you experienced it should again flood you with a portion of the same joy you first experienced. The witness of Truth is eternal joy, if you can easily discard something that you previously thought was truth, that is in itself, is evidence that it wasn't.

Though we cannot know truth exhaustively, does not mean we can not know a finite amount of truth. Moses addressed this train of thought in Duet 29:29. Basically he said "Many of the things of God we will never understand, but God has given us things we do understand, so that we can do them and be faithful in them."
Truth is accurate description of the thing being described.

OS Guiness was an associate of Francis Shaeffer. Frankie Schaeffer now tells us that father Frank was one of the architects of the alt right movement. Does Os now have second thoughts and regrets about his association with Francis.
