You are doing a wonderful job Gintu, this is the beginning and god will bless more for what you doing for these girls, the government is supposed to help them as well, and for free let's hope they will see what you hve started and chip in as well to help these girls, mama was asking how many times shld the girls change their pads, it depends on how heavy your flow is, some ppl bleed a lot and it takes many days, some hve light flows and shorter days eg some go for 3 days, some go for 7 days so it is up to individual, also you only change the pad when it's full, as woman /girl you can tell that your pad is full then you can change it, the other thing they should hve asked is some ppl hve period pains some are severe. Some don't maybe they should hve asked the doctor what to do in such cases, some might experiance headaches, all those topics need to be addressed, some ppl hve cramps to an extent they can't walk, 🙏🙏
One has to wash themselves and change sanitary pads often at least every 4-5 hours even if the flow is light to prevent them selves from smelling or itching.
It is nice to see you working on the ground to support the young women. Continue your ministry. May God continue to guide your path Its-Gintu. There is so much still to do in communities that are deprived of such basic needs. ❤

This is the support our young girls and ladies need. May i suggest to also find a female nurse, doctor, or a Gynecologist, the young girls and ladies will be more open and comfortable speaking to a professional woman. Another subject is teen pregnancy and raising their children to not make the same mistakes they made also psychological counciling for the young mothers.👍💯🔥

Since some of the girls are shy, consider having them write down their questions or break the girls into groups with one as the “leader” that can ask questions from their circle. Also, if you can possibly squeeze in another job, start having meetups with the young boys. Not sure how you can incentivize them to attend but perhaps you can figure it out, if you think it’s a good idea.

Just a few points, the Dr does not under that it’s not a good idea to put the pads in a toilet or pit latrine. The pads will float up and creat problems in the future. The pads need to be burnt . The girls or ladies should not drop the pads in the pit latrine while burne or you will have methane explosion. They need to select a safe place and burn the pads. You know, it would be better for there to be a lady doctor. Though the male Doctor did quite well.
Let this be the girls challenge. Who will send Its Gintu $30 usd for the needs of the girls. He gave one girl $10 usd so she can take exams the other day. Let’s go Ladies. Maybe next time A.M. Qarol can speak to the girls concerning use and feminine hygiene. Let’s Go.
