Why is there so much hate on SeeU? Her main language main be different, but she's still a Vocaloid with lots of potential. People don't hate Bruno and Clara for being Spanish, or Luo and Yan for being Chinese. The ones who are hating are being seriously racist. And I thought the Vocaloid fanbase was better than this.
Really late response but the issue was the fact she was a Korean-Japanese vocaloid. Koreans and Japanese have bad blood between them, I think something also happened around SeeU's release date that strained that relationship even more. The point is, the issue is not that she wasn't japanese, the issue is that being Korean-Japanese resulted in rejection from both sides, which were the target consumers, so it flopped inmensely
I'm Korean and can understand the language. I like both her English and Japanese songs. I'm a huge Vocaloid fan and like a lot of the Japanese Vocaloids and I like SeeU. Not because she's Korean, but because of her voice. Just because she is capable of Korean and Japanese doesn't mean that the SeeU program is bad. SeeU is the perfect example of "haters gonna hate".
To everyone who is acting all annoyed like oh she is a pic program she is blah blah blah blah blah. That's what I=Fantasy is actually about. It's like reporters hate me because I'm not real I'm just a dream blah blah blah I'm fantasy. So yeah...
@rthao6 sadly, no. for the current moment i forgot the provider's name, but she doesnt know japanese. they had to manually make it, and the japanese voicebank sometimes sounds a little too like korean. ... at least, thats what i know.
Ofc she can, it depends completely on the persons making the songs.. Miku had alot of great songs and SeeU can have that too, people just gotta make them first.. In my eyes all vocaloid is the best :D
Music is all about sharing creativity and spreading it around the world. It can never progress if something as petty as pointless racism gets in the way.

Please stop saying that Hatsune Miku is the first Vocaloid. She isn't the first. The first were Lola,Leon,Miriam,Kaito and Meiko. Hatsune Miku is Vocaloid2 and all the above names are Vocaloid1.

Miku is currently the most popular, but that doesn't cement her position as one that "was, is, and will always be the best" You never know what can happen... I personally like SeeU better than Miku, simply because Miku's voice sounds a little too squeaky, but that's just my opinion, like how your statement was just that, an opinion.
