3-Ingredient Fermented Hot Sauce (Probiotic rich!)

  • Basic Recipe:
    1 x 32 oz mason jar
    1 x fermentation weight and lid
    1-2lb peppers (a variety of hot and mild peppers yield the best flavor)
    Salt (enough for 4-8% by weight)
    Allow to ferment at about 75 degrees F, for about 4-5 weeks. Strain out peppers and blend with a little of the brine until desired consistency is reached. Store in the refrigerator for up to 6 months.

    I'm defiantly going to try this. I have a lot of peppers in my backyard and the little guys need a home.

    Great info.
    Easy and healthy.
    I ferment my cabbage ,small tomatoes ,excess onions and garlic etc and all are very tasty.
