Hi when logging which email address do you use main member or the person you sharing the link to?
So basically if you don’t give access to your location and enter the address manually, Spotify can’t check if you really live at the same address right?
I'm questioning this too

@@ma1chaine2 well i did some digging on reddit and found out that we can actually do it manually and not get caught lol but they might ask you to verify it once in a while (rare case scenario) so I think its good to go.

I have accepted a family member account and filled out the required info.but when i opened the app on my phone it still shows the free account.Any ideas?
You must have an account with Spotify first or even no account yet but recieved an invite then I'll be in premium too right

I accepted and did all this yet I'm logged in and it says I'm not premium but when I log in on the desktop it says I'm signed up for duo but I'm not listed then I send myself an invite and it says I'm already part of this duo plan so idk how to access it to actually be a part of it.
I send invitation to my daughter.
She accepts but says she is already logged in and that she is primary account holder which isn't true. Did I miss a step?
did you solve this issue ? I believe it is because she is already signed in with your info on the app while she is trying to accept the invite.

If you scroll to the bottom of the screen, there is an account setup button that can be used to create the new user account.
So my nine year old daughter needs her own Spotify account to be a part of the family account???
@@JennieFur47 no you get her a Spotify kids account that is linked to your account I believe
