Yeah it’s because of the air line is a 1/4” if I increase the line to a bigger size and use a actual valve it should deepen the tone but it’s free and louder than a normal road horn so it’s what it is
Looking good Chad, rust oleum make a chrome paint that is really quite shinny for paint, would look good on the front rims. I have used it on a couple of projects and I was pleasantly surprised.
Boy that’s wild you would think those would handle more pressure. I bet if that solenoid weren’t there that would work just putting straight air to it. But then it might blow out the horns. Good you got it working.
@@1ChadKeegan the compress that came with horns is 120psi know does the compressor have a regulator to turn down the air or instructions say to turn pressure down if not crap horn
@@1ChadKeegan I'm about hooking it straight Into the pole handly that blows the regular truck horn that's what I did and it's much louder the regular horn that I had went bad what's how I bypass the regulator but you're probably right them horns probably wouldn't take that mine were the big truck horn distribute from hornblasters
i would just go order the real train horn, those ones sound a bit cheap but i must say you have a lot of patience to still want them in after hearing them the city horn sounds better.? 👈😒👺👀👀👍
Funny sounding train horn. Sounds more like what one would expect on a miniature train ride at an amusement park/fair/museum.

@@1ChadKeegan And it's better than that other horn that would be more appropriate for a 1978 Ford LTD.
Awesome video Chad. Good to see you brother.👍👍👍
Thanks Raymond
Great video Chad really enjoy watching you install the train horn on the Blue truck. Sounds great thanks for sharing stay safe Chad.
Thanks Richard
Chad Keegan Love Those Train horns keep up the good work Billy Lizza Uniontown pa

the neighbors are happy now when you always honk your horn so nicely😊
I live in bfe I’ve never had any complaints about anything lol
A big massive kenworth emblem on the back ....do believe you have done that now .🙋♀️🚛🇬🇧🇺🇸
Lol yeah this was shot a few weeks ago and I get ahead of myself on Facebook with my posting 😂

I almost bought some the last time I was looking at the paint
Chad maté should have used the compressor and gave it a chance just imagine how much more beer time you would have 🤔🍻🍻
That compressor would have drawn more juice than I wanted and I would’ve had to mount it somewhere so it actually could’ve taken longer 🍻🍻
We’re you at that truck show on Lima on Saturday
That was me

Well I’ll be honest with you I was pissed and couldn’t understand what was happening with the situation and the fact I’d wasted my time for nothing
“Regulatorrrrs! Mount up.”
Definitely 💯
Saw your truck parked next to stainless Stu on Reds channel
Was she live earlier?
@@1ChadKeegan that's where I saw it👍
Good job Chad keep up the hard work
@@donwiley1055 thanks 🙏

Nice
Hek yea man love the train horns 10.4
Definitely 💯
Sounds like a trolley horn for school kids 🤣🤣🤣
Yeah it was junk and a waste of my time
your right cant recommend those horns also the compressor they sent had a gauge on it you could look at that for what they wanted to run at psi
Was set for 120 just like most normal compressors recommend

How to bypass the solenoid
Yeah I’d need a bigger line and a actual valve switch instead of the button

@@chadsmith9979 probably not we’ll see how long they actually hold up. Someday I’ll hook some real stuff up but it’s hard to turn down free stuff.
Sounds good sucks you had to add a regulator but is what it is at least it works.
If I used a bigger airline and ran a actual valve switch I could eliminate the solenoid completely

😂 they were free, it’s way louder and the city horn doesn’t sound better.. I may try some bigger tube to get a deeper sound.. stay tuned 😉
