Anyone else think the Challenger should have the Charger moniker, and vice versa? I was licensed in 75, and up until recently I thought the two door was the Charger! lol P.S. I think Jay was joking, but as many said below, the reverse 180 was attributed to James Garner of the Rockford Files detective series from back in the 70's. Rockford, or James Garner, would often do this stunt when in a precarious situation that required some skilled driving to extract himself and the car from being caught. James Garner did a lot of his own stunts, and unfortunately those stunts extracted to much from his body, and he had to retire despite the show's success, and desire of the studio to continue the series. Only reason I mention this is due to my love for the show. If you haven't seen it, have a look.

Last time I checked (considering I own a Charger) , there's a difference in a car with 2 doors and a car with 4 doors, but what do I know?🤷♂️
