- Reggae Interviews had the pleasure of talking in depth to Sanchez earlier this year about his remarkable musical journey which started out in the church in Jamaica during childhood. His songs and music please thousands of fans worldwide each year where he can blast out hit after hit; 'Loneliness', 'Lady in Red', 'Praise Him' and Missing You Now' and Sanchez shares stories of his career with DJ 745 live from Drop Di Bass Studio in St. Mary, Jamaica.

Sanchez is a national treasure and a gift to the world. His vocal ability is off the scale and he most certainly transcends generations. Why, because he never fails to deliver quaility. He's one of those artist that makes an average song sound magnificent.

Then we had the rope chains around 79 - 80, along with the sovereign rings. Back then the only Yankees that was wearing jewellery was probably a pimp from Detroit.

I heard that the name SANCHEZ really came from SAND CHEST after playing with friends and sand ended up on his chest which brought on laughter and over time AAND CHEST became SANCHEZ. Jamaicans give you a name for everything

I heard it came from him playing soccer, there was a soccer player whos name is sanchez and because Kevin Jackson was good at playing soccer he was named sanchez because of the international soccer player sanchez.

You transcend generations ---my parents in their 80s love your music--- my mom has always adored you --- you are her number 1--- my father top rates you and my husband ---- that's our love music.
